I woke up in the morning and thanked my lucky stars that josh wasn't awake yet. He makes the bathroom smell so glaringly of ax bodywash now that I can't even breath. I think he might have a crush on someone at school cuz it seems to me that he is changing himself to impress a girl. I will have to keep an eye on him so I can warn the poor girl of how much of an inconsiderate jerkhole this guy is. I took my shower in peace because I was already late for school.

When I was fully dressed I headed down stairs, clinging tightly to the smooth brass railing to avoid "death by stairs". Eveb though I took the precautions to not slip down the poshised wooden stairs in my socks, I still ended up slipping down th last three steps. A maid heard the ruckus and came to see what happened. "I'm okay, really. just slipped down the last step." I croaked, speaking for the first time today, and stood up. ":See I'm fine." I twirled in a circle hoping she wouldn't notice how stiff I was. I slipped on the shoes that were in the closet downstairs and went into the kitchen to eat breakfast. josh came stomping down the stairs in his timberland boots and dumped him self into one of the chairs and ate his food in silence.

When we got in his car he turned the radio on and I couldn't help but smile. This was my favorite song. I tried not to sing along, but I couldn't help my self. Who knew that he had a decent taste in music. I looked over to see him tapping his fingers on the steering wheel. We stopped at a red light even though no one was in the street. I looked to my left and didn't see any cars at all. Figures, we were an hour late to school. Come on, people can't get to school on time everyday. Plus if I was going to be late, I better look damn good walking in, even if it doesn't benefit anyone else.

The green light comes on so Josh takes off. All I remember was a feeling of being pushed into my door, a Crack and a hazy silhouette on my window. Then my world went black.

I was sitting at a picnic table in the park with Him and my sister. She looked at him lovingly and smiled wide laughing at whatever he had just said. I was eating a sandwich. Back then he used to take really good care of us. He loved my sister and he cared about me as if I was his little sister. This was the summer that he had gotten married to her. They were well into their twenties and I was around 7. I always admired them. I thought that they were perfect.

The vision shattered and all I could see was red. It was lighter in the middle. It looked as if I was sitting in the sun with my eyes closed. I could hear a noise that sounded like a person mumbling something softly. I could barely make out my name. "Chelsea. Please wake up. You have ...... two days. I'm really worried now please respond." The tone was rough and deep. It was very familiar. I was trying to remember who.......Josh. It was Josh. I tried to open my eyes and see where we are. I saw a white ceiling and the room smelled faintly of disinfectants. A blurry face made it into my field of vision. I saw it was josh as my eyes refocused.

I saw his angular jaw and strait nose. His bright green eyes under a fresh white gauze. His his right cheek had stitches running from right under his eye, that had dark purple bags as if he couldn't sleep, into the slight stubble on his chin. He lifted his right hand and waved it in front of my face. I looked at his full lips that were mouthing words and that was when I realized he was talking to me. "What?" He sighed and sat back in his wheelchair. Then he crossed his arms and raised his thick eyebrows.

"You were passed out for two days. I was starting to get worried that were not going to get up." A small smile lit up his face. "I am going to have to call the nurse in here. You woke up just in time to save me from death by boredom. Can you move your arm?" I looked down to my right to see that my arm had a cast up to my elbow. I was shocked. I wiggled my fingers and sighed in relief that my nerves were still functioning properly.

"I need water desperately. I feel like I swallowed the Sahara desert." I had started a coughing attack. He quickly grabbed the glass by the cott and handed it to me.
