You smiled looking at your watch constantly waiting for your boyfriend Dylan to come. Today was Valentine’s Day and he said he has a surprise for you. It made you really excited. The bell finally rang and you got up and unlocked the door and saw Dylan standing there wearing a jacket with a beanie and holding a bunch of roses. He hands them to you and says “Happy Valentine’s Day babe.” You smile and take them from him and say “Happy Valentine’s Day to you too.” You give him a kiss and then head into your living room to put the roses on the table. You returned to him and closed the door stepping outside. He holds your hand and then ties a cloth around your eyes and helps you get into the car. You both talk while driving to the secret place. You can’t help but feel curious and nervous. The car finally stops and Dylan helps you get out of the car. He helps you walk for a few minutes until he stops and removes the cloth. Your eyes take time to adjust until you notice the place. It was the amusement park where you first met Dylan, and you two had it all to yourselves.
Dylan: Do you like it?
You: I love it
Dylan: Come on. Let’s enjoy this.
You both start riding rides. Laughing, kissing, and taking photos. Until you both decided to take a break. You both sit down.
Dylan: That was fun
You: Yup!
Dylan: So I wanted to tell you something
You: What?
Dylan: I’m sorry about all the pain I’ve caused you with all the hate, criticism and the attention. I’m kind of surprised you haven’t run away yet. I love you
You: I love you too and I’ll be by your side for a long time
And just like that, the both of you enjoyed the day together.
