After so many years, i finished my speech,

I stopped and smiled widely at them.

"Thank you for listening to my speech."

*CLAP*CLAP*CLAP*CLAP*CLAP*

That's what you could only hear in this room,

I bowed my head and went to my chair at the back of our room

"Yieee, ang galing mo bes" sabi ni cherry my best friend

I just nodded and smiled at her

"Thank You for that wonderful speech, Ms. Cabajel " our professor said, Mrs. Veronica

"Next, let's listen to Ms. De Vera's speech"

We're having our Extemporaneous Speech here at our room for our subject, Purposive Communication.

****LUNCH BREAK*****

" Woii, san tayo?" tanong ni cherry

She is Cherry Monzanto, my best friend kuno, basta kaibigan ko na yan since i can't remember when.

"Canteen, malamang gutom na ako eh" i answered

"Aba malay ko kung saang canteen, ang daming canteen dito sa VSU gaga"

Oo nga hhahaha,

"Kahit saan basta malapit, gutom na talaga ako" sabi ko nalang sabay ayos ng gamit ko at isinukbit ang aking  backpack,

"Sige tara na, tapos ka na mag ligpit ng gamit mo?"

"Uhmm yeah, tara" aya ko sakanya

Lumabas ng kami ng room at nag deretso sa pinakamalapit na canteen.

As usual sa isang public university na kagaya nitong VSU talagang pilahan ang pagbili ng merienda, hindi kagaya sa iba na may waiter para manguha ng orders at mag serve ng pagkain.

Habang nasa pila, someone approach me

"Eyy, hi Miss" the stranger said

Hiya naman akong tumingin sakanya, at ngumiti

"Uhmmp hi" nahihiyang sabi ko, taena ang kapal naman ng mukha ko sa pagkakaalam ko ah bat anyare?

"I'm Nathan Jasper Navarette, can we be friends?"
Sabi nito sabay abot ng kamay upang makipag shakehands.

Aabutin ko ba? Baka may covid toh, charottt

sabi ko sabay akmang aabutin sana yung kamay nya pero may ibang humawak sa kamay ko at sya ang nakipagkamay
