The clock flashed a nice green color as the numbers appeared, 3:30 AM, Lewis had been sleeping since he had a big day the next morning. It was the morning he was supposed to take his last test in High School before graduation so all sorts of emotions traveled through his whole being. Lewis had not been able to sleep even a little so his sleep-deprived and groggy mind had found it amusing to make the shadows that loomed in each of the corners of his room move, the chair at his desktop in the left corner of the room's shadow warped around into the figure of some sort of demonic beast. At first he disregarded the shadow until it slowly started moving around, or at least that what his mind thought since the lack of light made the figure move around in Lewis's blue eyes.
His mind deceived him pretty easily making him double take looking towards the doorway, his breathing had increased only slightly but he simply shut his eyes again until that looming, terrifying feeling consumed his soul once again. This made him snap open his eyes yet again before he lightly bit his lip and slowly opened his eyes; this time the shadow figure was much more detailed, which made him slightly panic, clearly thinking there was someone in his bedroom at 3 am in the morning. His thoughts raced, if it was someone how would they have managed to get into his room? He did not have a window, and they would have had to pass by both his parents' room, as well as, his older brother Zane's room- who was most likely up playing with some of his friends in the room next door.
Once he had reassured his surge of racing thoughts, the male looked towards the small clock on his bedside table, though he calmly drew in a shaky breath and blinked a couple of times as his eyes continually re-adjusted. This allowed more figures to emerge from every corner of the room, a sigh escaped his lips as he looked towards the new figures emerging like soldiers from the shadows. The male groaned at the thoughts that sprang forth, almost as if they were a spring bursting from the hidden depths of the mountains nearby that he and his brother oftentimes went hunting or camping in. Finally, though, Lewis stopped and reached hazily for his phone on the edge of the table where he had the device charging currently and so far it was at 100%, the male decided to see if any of his friends were online and lucky him two of them were. With a content sigh he brushed away the shadow figures and happily sent a text to the friends online, who replied very quickly, pushing the scary thoughts away, along with the shadow-y figures, allowing him to have peace and quiet.
