Chapter 5-Christmas alone is stupid

Mr.Ryoko: Happy Holiday everyone!! We'll see each other in one month.
Karla: I'll throw a party at my house on the night of the Christmas. Everyone is invited.
Niri: Omggg, Otias let's go together!!! 
Otias: No, I won't come. I'll spend Christmas alone. Can't you go alone?
Niri: Nooooo, I want to be with you on Christmas Eve .
Otias: Well I don't want. Bye!
Kyle: Dude you're hurting her. Stop doing this. 
Otias: What the hell is your problem? Come on, just punch me, if that's what you want. 
Kyle: Are you mad? We're in school. We'll be expelled if we fight.
Otias: Then get out of my face.
Lucas: Dude calm down. She's crying now. Do something about that.
Otias: No, why should I care about her? It's not like I ever said I like her or something like this. I hate when she's clingy and it annoys me. 
Niri: It's this really what you think about me?
Otias: Yeah, I taught you knew it..
Niri: So all of that with me was just a bluff? 
Otias: Not all of it. Niri, just don't care about me.
Niri: Why do you keep avoiding me? Why? It's that hard to talk with me about it?
Otias: You wanna know why? Come with me outside then...
Niri: Ok...

Otias took Niri by the hand and they walked outside the school. Otias started explaining everything..

Otias: Niri, you think I don't wanna stay with you? I do... I truly want to stay by your side to the very end.. But..
Niri: What is it Otias? Tell me..

Otias started crying. It was the first time for Niri seeing him cry. It was strange. 

Otias: In a couple of months I will die. I have a rare disease and it can't be fixed. I don't want to hurt you after I'm gone, so it's better for both of us to take different roads. 
Niri: No, please, don't do this. I don't care if you die or not. I want to stay by your side near the very end. I want to be the last person seeing you so please don't leave me now.
Otias: You sure you want someone as stupid as me? 
Niri: You're my idiot.
Otias: You know, I'm not that funny..
Niri: Who cares? You're the funniest for me.
Otias: There are guys much more pretty than me.. 
Niri: You're the one who is attractive to me. 
Otias: Can you promise me you won't cry when I die?
Niri: I can't promise that, but I will promise I won't forget you.
Otias: Can you come at my house for Christmas?
Niri: Yes. You want to invite anyone else?
Otias: No, no you're only one I need. Don't bring anything with you. I will prepare the food for us and everything else.
Niri: As you want boss.

CHRISTMAS DAY

It was afternoon already and Otias had to finish every recipe he wanted to try for Niri, but his phone rang all of a sudden. It was his doctor.

Otias: Hello? Doc?
The Doctor: I know you said I don't have to call you, but I have something to tell you. You won't die.
Otias: Doc, are you sure?
The Doctor: Yes I am.
Otias: But how?
The Doctor: Well, I messed up the files and I read someone else files, but I looked it up and you are healthy person.
Otias: So there is a person with that disease then?
The Doctor: Yes,the name is....

In that moment Niri walked in the house and Otias dropped the phone with tears in his eyes.
