A hour has passed and there has not been a single word Spoken in this car. You can physically feel the awkwardness in the atmosphere.

As I'm looking out of the window watching a flock of birds I suddenly hear the sound of music playing through the radio. I turned to see my aunt changing the stations while Looking Up at me.

"What channel would you like to listen to honey?" she asked.

I looked at her for a moment and then replied with. "I don't listen to music."

"Huh I haven't heard of anyone that doesn't listen to music" she commented While glancing at me then putting her eyes back on the road.

I nod and turn my head to look out of the window some more.

I stayed that way for awhile stuck in my thoughts. Just thinking About random things until I hear my aunt's voice interrupt them.

"Ok sweetheart there's a café up the street that we can stop by, And get something to eat for dinner." she asked while glancing at me With a kind expression on her face.

I hope she thinks I don't like her even though I barely know this Women she's not half bad I mean she sounds pretty nice. Well from the thirty minutes I saw her and kind of talked to her A week ago, and from the hour I have talked to her today She doesn't seem bad but you know she could always be a psycho.

"I don't have any money" I replied honestly, because I'm broke as hell.

"Oh sweetheart I would be paying for us both" she chuckled while Turning left on a busy street.

Free food hell yes I'm in.

"Ok that's fine."

About 5 minutes went by until she turned of the car And we walked into the dinner to order food. While my aunt was ordering the food I went to sit down at One of the booths.

Damn, I should really ask her for her name.

As I was sitting there I looked around the place. It was a pretty cute café if I'm being honest. It had cute pictures on the walls a pink interior with matching seats.

When I turned around I saw a man and a woman looking At me. I turn my head around to see if they were looking at someone Else, but when I looked back at them they were still staring at me.

I try not to let it bother me because I don't really know what to do about It, and after a few minutes I turned to see if they were still staring but When I looked I saw them leaving the café while on the phone with someone.

"What the hell" I mumbled to myself as I sit back down in my seat

Once I do, I see my aunt come back with some food and drinks. She sits down and hands me my food and drink as I mumbled "Thank you" to her and she nods.

"Soo," she starts "how's your life been lately violet."

I look at her for a moment thinking about how stupid Of a question and trying to think of something to say back.

"Um not that good, "I began. "My parents died from being kidnapped when I was 13 they were found dead a month later in a lake. I was put into A foster home a month after. Got adopted and un adopted by this Annoying ass family that reminded me of the damn brady bunch. Never got adopted again. After a year the cops stopped looking For the person or people that killed my parents, and now I'm talking To a random lady claiming to be my mothers sister when To be honest I never heard anything about you."

She sat there with a frown on her face not saying anything As she started to eat her food again. guess I made it awkward. My bad.

I looked at my food for a minute to see if I could think Of something to say to make things less awkward.

I finally looked up from my plate and said "can I ask you a question?"

"Of course you can"

"What's your name?"

She chuckled a little as she answered by saying "Linda, my name is Linda"

Pretty basic but ok.

We sit there in silence for a minute as we finished our food Then left.

"How did you like the food? "Linda asked as she Grabbed her keys from her purse and started the car.

"It was good, better than the poison they fed us at the Foster home" I replied honestly.

"You know I the last time I was here was with Your mom. "she said glancing over at me with a small smile.

I looked over at her in a bit of shock. I mean I knew she might have my moms sister, but I didn't think They were close. I wonder why my mom never talked about her.

"Can I ask you another question?"

"Of course you can, I don't mind"

I turned to look at her and began to ask "why did you and My mom stop talking?"

She sighed as her bright smile turned into Quite a sad frown. "It was such a stupid reason. Because of some boy I think way before your mother met your father."

We reached a red light so she put her foot on the breaks And continued.

"I got mad at her a month before I went to collage, so we Never apologized to each other. I always Wanted to call her but I never had her number."

She took her foot of the break once the light Turned green and glanced at me.

"Well that was dumb" I noted. who would ruin Their whole sister bond for some dumb ass Boy they didn't see again after that.

"We were dumb" she states with a disappointed expression

After about thirty minutes I fell asleep For the rest of the way which I'm thankful For because talking is not really my thing. I'm more on The quiet side. I always have been.

"Were here sweetheart!"

I lean up when I see a cute  blue house with flowers in the Front yard. damn they are really plant crazy here.

"You like flowers a lot huh"

"Yeah it's kind of like an addiction!" she chuckled As she grabbed my suitcases out of her trunk. Hey I mean a flower addiction is better than a Drug one I guess.

"Here!" She held her hand out for me. "I'll give you a tour." She smiles.

I'm starting to like her hell, she's not bad. she's actually the Opposite she's really nice.

I think I'm going to like it here!
