Jungkook's POV

I left Jimins house feeling my heart racing in my chest.

I have someone who likes me that I semi want but then I am in love with my best friend who may or may not want me in return.

God things are so difficult.

I walked to Taehyung's house and checked the time.

It read 4:15pm.

I went up the elevator feeling nervous then rang the door bell.

Within seconds it opened.

Almost like Taehyung was waiting for me to turn up.

Taehyung opened the door.

But I was expecting him to look like he'd fucked maybe like 3 girls while waiting for me.

But instead he didn't seem to look sweaty at all.

"Damn I thought you weren't going to come" Taehyung said when I walked in.

He closed the door.

"Psh. Why wouldn't I come?" I asked Taehyung.

"Maybe having to much fun at Jimins?" Taehyung shrugged.

"Nah" I answered putting my bag down.

But then we heard the door bell ring.

I felt my heart drop until Taehyung expressed a confused facial expression.

Taehyung opened the door with me at the door.

His mother stood at the door.

"Oh you are home" She said walking in.

Taehyung sighed.

"Oh Jungkook your here too" She said.

"I just arrived" I answered.

"Oh I see. I'm not going to be here long. Just wanted to see how my son is doing" She said.

I nodded.

Taehyung turned to face his mother.

"Okay. You see me. Now goodbye" He said.

"Kim Taehyung! I am your mother! You don't own this house! You will listen to me! And you do not speak to me like that!" She said yelling at Taehyung.

My heart dropped hearing the way Taehyungs mother spoke to Taehyung.

Their relationship together is terrible.

But I felt Taehyungs hand creep into mine.

He was scared.

I held his hand tightly.

"What do you want then. Money? Food? Because I got none" Taehyung said still holding my hand.

"Heres some money for some food then" She said pulling out some 100 dollar notes.

"Are your grades improving at school?" She asked him.

"Yes. Jungkook is helping me study" He said lying while still holding my hand.

"That's good. I heard from the principle they thought about pulling you out of attending their school" She said.

"Yea" Taehyung sighed.

"I am changing things around though" Taehyung said.

"Good. Also I don't want to take care of your damn dog anymore so here you go" She said pulling Yeontan out of the box she was holding.
