I went out and saw Lydia speaking to Isabelle and the seelie, Meliorn. Lydia and Isabelle started arguing when I stepped up. "Lydia. Enough." She nodded and walked off as Isabelle continued to argue. "Isabelle. Enough. Please. I will do what I can to make sure it doesn't go too far." She stepped up and spoke. "I don't believe you for a second." She walked off and I sighed. Why is this job so hard?
Later I was looking for Alec when I saw him talking to Izzy and a boy. I walked up and spoke. "You must be Jace Wayland. Evangeline Calliel. You're quite the legend in Idyris." He kept his arms crossed and spoke. "Don't believe everything you hear." I stepped back and looked at Alec. "Did you tell them?" Isabelle spoke up. "Tell us what?" Alec spoke. "Eva and I are engaged." "We're getting married." "You're not serious." "You were supposed to tell them no. It's your life to ruin" I looked down and tried not to break. Jace and Alec argued before Jace walked away. "They hate me." "Relax. They'll warm up to you."
Lydia handled the interrogation while I worked on paperwork.
