Xigbar felt his body ache again as herolled over, he grumbled to himself as he tried to force himselfasleep fully but the pain made him slowly wake up, his mind slowlyspun around the room as he 'saw' he was in his old room in thecastle. He slowly pushed himself and sat on his legs as he lookedover at the gambler that seemed to be looking intensely at the bookhe always had on his desk. He wondered why he was even looking at itbefore feeling his skin shiver from the lake of coat on his torso. Hesmirked as he looked back at Luxord, knowing this would spook him."Enjoying yourself?" Xigbar saw the blown-out expression of thegambler getting caught and smirked largely at him.
Luxordstuttered before he sighed. "I guess?" He started as he looked atthe ground. "Just noticed the symbol on your book is wrong..."Xigbar tiled his head as he saw the gambler look back at the book andlooked at the cover. "Really? How so?" Xigbar asked before seeingLuxord's crystal blues. "It's like the organization's symbol butupside down and has more stuff... why..." That was all he got outbefore Xigbar appeared next to him, making jump take a small stepback, he didn't say anything as he eyed the page the gambler was on."The pages are also black and it looked old... where did you getit?" Luxord recovered after a minute of silents between the two menbefore Xigbar has a toothy grin. "I can't remember... kinda foundit on a box of mine one day..."
The two then just stared betweenthe book and each over for a little longer than Luxord cared for, hebroke the silence as he closed the book and moved around the sniperonly to speak when he was closer to the bed. "Why did you move ushere?" He asked, hoping it was not because of what he did, as helooked at the sniper to see him turn and shrug. "No idea, I kindapassed out, guess I went to a safe place for me?" Luxord noddedbefore setting on the edge of the bed and looked around not sure whatto do while Xigbar started to dig around in drawers before gasping, pulling the gambler's gaze on him. "Found you..." He mutteredjust like he did when he was sleeping, he was holding a bottle ofsomething before smiling a little childish at Luxord, showing off abottle of potion. Luxord looked a little worried about it as Xigbarused it, he was unsure if they went bad but it seemed to help himfrom actually bleeding. Xigbar looked from Luxord to the book beforethinking about days long since past, Luxord noticed the look butdidn't say anything as he understood the feeling the other felt. Theroom fell into a comfortable silence until the room seemed to rumbleagain.
Xigbar looked confused as he stabilized himself on thedesk, his head looking around to try to find the source of it onlyfor Luxord to speak up. "Please tell me you can track that..."Xigbar frowned at the gambler and tilted his head at him. "I thinkI can but I get the feeling it's someone causing it... feels likesone of Lexaeus' attacks...." He paused before kicking the chairnear him to making it twist around a little before taking a seat init. "First I have a few questions." He said as started to leanback only to noticed the mostly tattered tank top he was still in andfrown at it. "Has it really been a little over sixty years sinceSora defeated you?"
Loxord looked confused at where thatquestion came from before shaking his head. "No, I have beentrapped on the balcony for that long... I believe it has been longersince we were defeated. It is hard to figure out when I can't seeafter images at the moment..." Xigbar nodded as he pulled what wasleft of his tank top off and tossed the bandages in a smallwastebasket under his desk.
"I had a feeling it might have beenthat..." He started before standing up and appeared behind Luxord, now digging in a wardrobe. "Can you tell how long others havebeen... umm...." He paused as he looked at something in the dresserand frowned. 'Didn't know I still had this...' He thought as he saw asmaller coat that seemed like it would fit Roxes. "How long...um..." He paused again as he spotted a forgotten weapon of someone.Luxord looked back at him before repeating what he said. "How longwhat?" Xigbar clattered a few things as he spoke before lookingconfused at the gambler as he pulled a long-sleeved shirt and newcoat out, the door closed itself as his mind recoiled to what hewanted to say. "Can you tell how long others been awake?"
Luxordslowly nodded as he eyed the wardrobe before watching the sniperpulled the shirt on. "I think so, I only see about a day on you..."Xigbar smirked as the room shook again.
"Good!" Xigbar startedbefore pausing as he pulled the coat on smirking. "I wonder...."Luxord did not like the look he had as if he wanted to do somethingdangerous. "Do you think...." He stepped closer to the gambler, the clack of his boots echoed the room, this made Luxord worried now."Never mind..." He said before his hand landed on the gambler'sshoulder and he got a weird tingle feeling before he saw the SilentHero in one of the white staircase rooms of Castle Oblivion, He wastrying to break one of the walls that should have a door on it but itonly made the whole room shake. "What?" That was all Luxord gotout before Xigbar whispered something he didn't hear at first.
"Howlong has he been awake?" Luxord blinked a saw Xigbar right next tohim and leaned back before speaking.
"I didn't check..."Xigbar sighed and did whatever he did again before the gambler said anumber. "Five days... but why..." That was all he got out beforefeeling his being twist again and found himself standing behind thetowering man.
Xigbar looked up at Lexaeus and smiled wide at him,he appeared in front of him and almost expected to be attacked. "Longtime no see, big man..." Lexaeus looked a little shocked beforelooking back at Luxord, causing him to jump a little as the gamblerwas a little intimidated by his height.
"What happened?" Heasked only to get a shrug from the sniper. "Not sure, I get thefeeling we all 'died' and I didn't think there was life afterbecoming a nobody..." Lexaeus nodded. "Now... I have an idea butI hope it will work..." Xigbar muttered to himself as he held hisarms out wide. "Hold on to me if you don't want to be stuckhere..." He said as he closed his eyes, he heard two boots quicklymove closer to him and when he knew they had at least a hand on hiscoat he moved the three of them to another location.
