'Welcome to Dublin Airport. The ground temperature is 14° and the sky is clear. On behalf of all of us at Aer Lingus we wish you a pleasant stay'

Joey had just landed in Dublin's Airport from Nice and had planned to meet up with her brother at the arrivals.

Once she walked out of the plane and her phone had adapted to the different roaming service, she felt her smartwatch buzz on her wrist. The screen had lit up with the name Sebastian and the text seemed to be quite long. She curiously took her phone out of her pocket and started reading.

Hope your flight was OK. I have just got back home to Switzerland after a rather eventful flight with Robin and Rianna not letting me breathe for one moment. Good luck back home, hope your grandad is doing well. Feel free to let me know if you need anything.

Be good, I'll see you in Canada.😊 Seb

Joey smiled widely. How could a text make her gut feel like it was on fire?

She spotted her brother's ginger hair from afar and ran towards him to jump in his arms.

'Hey Little sister' he said, sweetly. 'I've got us a car, but you can drive. I know it helps you out when you're stressed'

Joey smiled, grabbing the key off of her brother.

The drive through the Irish countryside, accompanied by some mellow music playing on thr car sound system, was exactly what Joey needed to take her mind off things. The two siblings updated each other on the latest news: Matt was planning on asking his long term girlfriend to marry him and had been planning a trip to Spain, her home country, the following month; Joey told him all about her first few races and her experience in the F1paddock. She had deliberately decided not to mention anything to do with Seb and her stupid crush on him. That would be her secret to keep as she knew her brother would start a full on interrogation about every single detail she knew about the German.

Once they arrived outside her grandad's house, Joey spotted her uncle's Jeep parked up on the drive. She and Matt took their luggage out of the back and walked towards the door. Joey took a deep breath before pressing on the doorbell.

A few seconds later, they were greeted by their uncle's smiley face.

'Hello, guys! My god, long time no see' he hugged them both. 'Joey, I know you hate it when I say it but you're looking so much like your mum, it's uncanny' he stated. Joey's late mum, Aisling, had been her father's and uncle's best friend since they were children and Ben always liked to point out their similarities.

'I know, you tell me every time you see me, Ben' she said, smiling. 'How is he?'

'He's ok, for now. We know it's gonna get worse, but... we try to keep positive'

'Of course. Daideo? Where are you hiding?' She entered the house, calling for her grandad through the corridor.

'Is that my baby Joey?' She heard him reply. 'You're here! I didn't know you were coming'

Joey was taken back for a second, knowing full well she had just spoken to him the previous day to tell him she was travelling to Ireland. She also knew that pointing it out to him would only hurt him and her more than necessary.

'You know what, daideo? I had some time off and I wanted to come see you. How are you? Ready for our walks?' She wrapped her arm around him and kissed his cheek.

'Always.' He replied. 'I'll make some tea'

'Coffee for me, please, if you have it.' Joey asked.

'Actually, how's this job going? I've read so much about you' Ben asked, curiously.

'Read? Where?' She asked, surprised.
