First things first, I'm a huge animal lover. Yeah I have a lot of them, I have 16 of them. And counting.
1. You need to have the money for it. Rabbits are very expensive.
2. You must also have the space for them. Out side in a shed, or barn is great.
3. You will need to get into a 4-H club , so you can show your rabbits and win ribbons for them. And also get champion legs.
We started out with a rabbit named Tulip. Or also known as Tulip the flower power bunny. She was a non-showable blue/ grey eye blue and white broken holland lop. You might want to get a book about the breed you have. Along with all of its colors. I have found it easyer to stick with one breed of rabbit.
Next we got a new rabbit, his name was cristoph. ( not from the movie frozen ) he is a blue eyed white American fuzzy lop. Then came along 3 others that we got all at once. ( none were related ) we got 2 blue eyed white Holland lop, then a brown eye white and brown broken Holland lop.
After about a year , we got a new partner. He has a barn, with tons of rabbits. So he helps us out a lot.
