Who is the blonde guy?

You and Sara were in the kitchen eating pizza and some beer , you love pizza ! Every birthday party is there pizza on the menu, your favorite pizza is with ham , yes , only ham ! Keep it simple like your best friend used to say. You don't see your best friend that much anymore , you are a time traveling girl and she's a lawyer , two different jobs and lifestyles. You miss the days with your best friend when you got home from school and watched the whole night Netflix with her. Well you don't have to complain about your lifestyle now , you save the world , have some superhero's as friends and you met this blonde British guy 3 weeks ago , his name is John Constantine , you haven't really talked to him but you do have some eye contact during missions or when your on the Waverider.

You and Sara finished the pizza in 30 minutes, You had one piece of pizza left. Sara threw her box in the trash, in that moment John walked the kitchen in. " oh hello luvs ". You love it when he says luv with that accent, although he says that to everyone but still...

You can't help yourself and laugh at him , your cheeks are turning a bit red , Sara doesn't see it , she just chuckle to him. John smells the pizza and comes closer , your heart started pounding as he approached. He opens your box and saw one piece left, he looks you into the eyes. " If you don't mind luv " . He takes the last pizza piece and winks at you. You couldn't help yourself by blushing , Sara saw it and gave you *the look*. John eats the pizza and grabbs a bear. " Thank you for the pizza piece sweet'eart now if you want to excuse me , I have to prepare a spell " .

Once John walks out the door , Sara looks at you , she opens her mouth but you cut her off " Just don't ". You say. " I wasn't going to " she said and gives you soft smile. Sara couldn't hold it she had to ask you. " Do you like him? " she asks. You give her an annoying face because she just said a few minutes ago that she wasn't going to say anything. You decide to answer because you know she will keep going until you tell her. " I only know him for 3 weeks and we haven't talked we only had some eye contact but yes, I kinda like him and damn the way he use that accent " . Sara is laughing, you realize that you actually like him although you didn't talked too him, yet , you will talk to him soon.

" Why don't you go to him and talk to him , get to know him a bit better and yeah you know, maybe you won't sleep alone tonight " . The tone that she used for those last words makes you laugh , typical Sara always teasing you. Well she isn't wrong , why don't you just go talk to him and get to know him better.

"Listen (y/n) if you like John you have to go talk to him , I know John isn't the one for a relationship like Romeo and Julia but if he starts to fall for someone , then he falls hard and he will do anything for that one who he falls for." Wow you weren't prepared for that kind of conversation with Sara , you just wanted to end the night quiet, now you have to tell John that you're attracted to him that's not how you wanted to spend your night. But Sara is right, if you want to know John you have to talk to him.

You follow her advice, you get up, slide your chair under the table and drink your beer all at once, Sara gives you a soft smile. " I talk to you later." You say before you walked out of the door on your way to the library.

It's quiet in the halls of the Waverider, they're probably playing videogames because it's Friday night and on Friday night is it videogame night, except for John he doesn't like the technology, he doesn't even know how to use a phone. You and Sara didn't join today because you two just got back from a mission and both of you are tired and not in the mood to play videogames.

You arrived at the door of the library, you knocked 3 times and opened the door a bit to put your head through. " Damn it Gary what did I told you about disturbing me while I'm preparing spells!" You opened the door to walk all the way through. " No it's me, (y/n), I wanted to talk to you but it's okay I can-" John cuts you off. " It's okay luv, a lovely birth like you can come in, I thought it was Gary he always bothers me when I'm doing spells." You left him a soft smile on your face.

"Now where do you wanne talk about sweet'eart?" John got up from the ground and put his tie back on, he took 2 whiskey glasses and poured them, he gives you a glass and set aside 2 chairs. You sit down on one of the chairs and sipped your glass. " mmh this is really good stuff." You said, John gives you a soft smile. " I'm glad you like it luv , it's my favorite". "Well, good that you have good taste." You said. John laughs and winks, you cheeks turns a little redder than normal.

You clean your throat and start talking. "Well I wanted to know you a little bit more, I've talked to everyone on the ship except for you and we kind of had those moments where we had eye contact and I liked that." You said with a low voice. "Oh is that so." John said with a flirting voice. "Well luv, I wanted to talk to you after the mission 3 weeks ago but you left after directly after it, so I thought you weren't interested in a bloke like me." You take another sip of your glass. "Ah, no, I went home after the mission because my best friend came and I haven't saw her in months, she lives on the other side of the world and she's a lawyer and yeah me as a time traveler." You give him a soft smile. "Two different lifestyles, I get it." John says.

"So where are you from?" He asks. "I was born in New York but I moved to Boston when I was 16, the city life is not my style, I like adventures." John smiles at you. "So an adventure girl are we? I like that!" He drinks his whiskey in one go. You give him a shy smile and run your finger over the glass you're holding.

John comes closer and takes your right hand, he strokes your palm with his thumb without breaking eye contact. You feel an energy shock all over your body, his hand is so soft and his eyes are dark brown with a glow of light. He breaks the eye contact to look at your lips, when he got closer, the library door opens.

It is Nate. "Oh hello guys." Nate says and he gives you a soft smile. You whisper in your own "Damn it Nate." He doesn't hear it but John did, who gives you a flirty smile. "Well I'm going to my bedroom, it's been a long day." You tell them.

"Goodnight luv." John says and he leaves a grin on his face. You smile at Nate and then walk out the door. When you get into your room, you take off your clothes, put on your sweatpants with a oversized t-shirt and put your hair in a bun.

You get into your bed and turn off the light of your night light. Falling asleep is difficult, you can only think of one thing, John , if Nate hadn't walked in you and John would've kissed.
