The Recovery

Geno was walking to Reaper's house with his arm wrapped around him as a support "You're ok... You're ok..." He repeated this to himself multiple times as they walked

Reaper would groan every few steps and struggled to stay awake "A-Almost there..." His house came into view a few seconds after his comment 

Geno was relieved after seeing his house but almost instantly felt a pain. He saw Papyrus outside of the house, about to look for Reaper. The two differences between this Papyrus and his own, the black cloke and aura he gave off.  The aura was a bit like Reaper's but not as great and much more gentle. He stood still for a few seconds while staring at Papyrus but quickly started walking "H-Hey!!" He yelled out to the other Papyrus

Papyrus heard the yell and turned his head to Geno and Reaper. He recognized Reaper right away but the other skeleton was a mystery to him. He ran over to the two of them "What happened? He looks exhausted"

"I-It's a long story... One better told if he's not tired" He gave Reaper to his brother then nervously rubbed his left arm with his right arm "Can I come with you?"

Papyrus took Reaper in his arms then looked at the other skeleton for a few seconds before nodding "We must hurry and take him to Gaster" He turned around and walked forward, towards Gaster's lab

Geno falted a little at Gaster's name. His own Gaster would haunt him in the save screen when no one was there but he had learned to ignore him. He followed Papyrus and found that he was speedwalking so he had a little trouble keeping up.

After a few minutes of walking, Papyrus got to Gaster's lab and knocked on the door. Alphys, his assistant, quickly answered. She saw Reaper's state and quickly went to get Gaster. Papyrus walked into the lab and put Reaper down on a bed.

Gaster walked into the room and went to Reaper's side "What happened? His energy is drained" He started setting up some magic to speed up the recovery process

Geno was nervous being around so many new but familiar people "H-He uhm... Got me out of the save screen" He came out from behind Papyrus and looked at him

Gaster flinched at the sound of the that name "The Save Screen..." He continuted setting up the magic "You and me will be talking after this" Gaster wasn't looking at Geno but he knew he meant him. 

Geno was getting more hesitant by the second "A-Alright..." He sat down on a chair by Reaper and watched Gaster set up his machine

Gaster finished prepping the machine and connected it to Reaper "This should speed up his magic recovery. He'll be back to normal within one or two days" Gaster goes back to the room he was in before and continued on his experiment

Alphys left as well to help Gaster with anything he needed

Papyrus stayed for a bit longer too but needed to go work and reap souls, especially because Reaper wasn't able to. 

Geno never left. He stayed with Reaper the entire time, having nowhere else to go "I'm sorry Reaper..." 

One day later

Reaper wakes up, still looking a little tired but manages to sit up. He looks around and sees Geno sleeping in a chair "H-Heh... Thanks" He relaxes in the bed he's in and lets out a deep breath

Geno wakes up a few minutes later and yawns. It takes him a few seconds to realize but he sees Reaper looking and smiling at him "Y-You're ok!" He basically tackles and hugs him

He groans and hugs back "Not so rough. Still recovering here" He chuckles and kisses Geno's cheek

Geno smiles and only hugs him tighter "You can take it... I'm sure" He let go after a few minutes and sat back down

Alphys looked out of the main lab and saw the two of them talking. She goes back to Gaster and reports "G-Gaster. Reaper i-is awake n-now. He's t-talking with t-the other s-skeleton now" 

Gaster nods and goes to the two of them. He doesn't say anything and checks a few things with Reaper then stops and looks at Geno "You come with me now"

Geno looked at Reaper and he nodded. He stands up and follows Gaster to the main lab nervously

Cliffhanger- Well all of it is a cliffhanger until I make the next chapter. Btw, for those of you who don't know,
