Hi guys. It's Brooklyn. Wish me luck before I start writing this chapter. I tried to tell Chloe I couldn't write the chapter. My lame excuse didn't work. I don't know why she didn't believe me when I said I was allergic to Say No To This. Anyway... here we go.
TW: AGGRESSIVE ARGUMENT
Alexander Hamilton's POV
I walk back to my house. I have so much work to do. I keep thinking about that one woman who was wearing a red dress. I don't know why. Philip is still mad at me for not going on the trip with Eliza, and Eliza and Angelica are upset about it too. They don't understand how much I have to do.
*The week passes*
I haven't slept in a week. I hear a knock on the door. It was probably Philip coming home for the day. I look out the window just to check that it was him. I don't want to end up having to talk to Jefferson or Madison or someone like that. I open the curtains and see that it was the young woman in the red dress. I know that I shouldn't be answering the door to anyone other than family this late at night but for some reason, I do."Hello sir..." she says. She looks like a mixture of shy and scared.
"Hello." I say kind of awkwardly.
"Oh," I say after kind of just an awkward moment between the two of us. "Come in. We can talk in there."
"Ok."
She gracefully walked into the door
"Sorry... I was trying to be graceful..."
We both laugh.
"So... what's your name?" I say.
"Maria Reynolds."
"Alexander Hamilton" I introduce myself.
I pull up two chairs for both of us. (I mean we each sit on one.) We are talking and having a very enjoyable conversation.
"It's really nice talking with you." She says.
"Ye-"
The front door slams open.
"Haha! We heard you in the process of saying something very bad! Alexander, explain yourself!" a familiar blonde boy says.
"Will, that was a little dramatic, busting through the door like that. Don't you think?" A black haired boy mumbles.
"No, it was just perfect, Nico!
They both giggle. Philip and Theodosia are standing behind them. Philip looks just a little bit mad. Actually, a lot mad. Theodosia looks disappointed, and the two boys look proud. I have no idea why.
Philip glares at me.
"Dad... Can I talk to you?" You can tell he's mad by the way he's talking.
"Sure, meet me in the bedroom."
We both go to the bedroom.
"WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING?! I THOUGHT YOU WERE ABLE TO BE TRUSTED! I SHOULD HAVE BELIEVED WILL AND NICO! HOW DO I KNOW YOU WON'T DO THIS AGAIN IN THE NEXT TWO MONTHS THAT MOM AND MY SIBLINGS ARE GONE?! WHY DID Y-" Philip is yelling at me. I know that everyone else in the house can hear, so I yell back.
"WELL, I AM ABLE TO BE TRUSTED! EXCUSE ME FOR HAVING A LIFE! EXCUSE ME FOR HAVING A CONVERSATION WITH SOMEONE OTHER THAN YOUR MOM! EXCUSE ME FOR THE FACT THAT YOUR JUST A CHILD AND KNOW NOTHING ABOUT LIFE AND RELATIONSHIPS AND-"
"Relationships?"
"That's not what I meant, Philip!"
"Sure that's not what you meant... sure. I would love to believe that to ease my mind but we all know what you meant!"
Philip storms out of the door and I have one thought in my mind. If I want to talk to Maria, then I will.
Yayyyyy! Another chapter done! Who do you agree with? I agree with Philip because I feel like Alexander is being stubborn and won't listen to Philip. Either wayyyyy...
Byeeeeee! 😁
