Chapter 2- Allie

I laughed as I walked out of the classroom. "What's so funny?" Allie asked walking right beside me.

"Oh nothing" I replied still giggling.

"Ok? Anyways I'm going to a party tonight with Blake and Jacob. Do you wanna come?"

My eyes lit up "yes of course!" Blake and Jacob were seniors while me and Allie were sophomores.

"Let me guess Blake asked you to the party and you wouldn't accept unless he let me go?"

"Ummm maybe. I'm not answering that." her eyes twinkled with mischief.

Blake was Allie's lover and Jacob was just a pot head. Blake had black hair and brown eyes.

I think Jacob has dirty blonde hair and blue eyes, but I'm not quite sure. When we first met we hated each other, but I guess were cool now.

"Skylar! Sky!" I snap out of it

"What happened?" I asked confused. I don't remember sitting down.

"Well you went into lala land... again and you almost ran into at least three walls, but thanks to you trusty best friend you did not die." She puffed her chest out and put her hands on her hips.

I giggle "so why am I in a chair?"

"Well about that you started to collapse and before you hit the ground someone caught you and brought you to the chair" she squirmed. she wasn't telling me something.

"Allie? Who carried me?" She visibly tensed up.

She mumbled something under her breath.

"A little louder please" I said as sweetly as I could manage.

"Colton Fang" she said loudly with confidence.

"I fucking hate him" I growled.

"Ya I know" Allie shrugged "well at least he wasn't being a dick"

"True but why?" I shook my head to clear my thoughts. I'd think about it later.

"Maybe he wants to use it against you?" Allie said as she stared at the ceiling.

Suddenly her face lit up as she looked at me and smiled "What?" I asked confused.

"Maybe he likes you?" Allie laughed until she cried.

"Haha that's funny now let's be serious please" I tried to calm her down by making her sit.

"That was funny" she stated as she whipped her tears.

"Hilarious" I said slightly annoyed.

"Besides" I whispered "Why would someone like him like someone like me?"

*** Colton's part ***

I stood outside the office as I listen to Allie and Skylar. I know it's wrong but I wanted to know what she said.

I heard her say that she hates me and I frowned. "Damn" I mumbled under my breath.

I smiled when I heard Allie say "maybe he likes you?" But I frowned again when she laughed.

"Haha that's funny now let's be serious please" I heard Skylar say and my heart dropped.

I got lost in my thoughts until I heard Skylar speak again. "Besides" she paused "Why would someone like him like someone like me?

I sighed "If only you new Sky, I didn't mean to mess up, if only"
