We've been on the run for the past two years, and it was now my last day of middle school. Himiko managed to pose as people that would allow my identity and school documents to continue to be re-done along with my appearance, allowing me to continue attending school as long as we kept moving and kept changing our looks.

This time, my name was Kitogo Katsu, and I was a 14-year-old girl with blue hair and many piercings. I didn't bother changing my eye color from their natural red, and it was too hard to try to tan, so I hoped everything else would be enough. I had to continuously re-dye my hair though - more than the typical person - because every time I activated my quirk my body registered hair dye as damage and tried to heal it by completely erasing all of the dye that touches my roots, leaving only the tips of my hair blue.

Most of my piercings were also fake, though I was quickly getting attached to the look of my snake bites and double nose piercing, and I was sad about having to get rid of all of the fake hoop piercings in the future.

All I wanted was to be free and live how I wanted, but that was too much to ask when your sister is a psychotic murderer named Himiko Toga.

I touched up my hair, adjusting my side bangs on the short hairstyle before grabbing my school bag and heading out of our abandoned building we temporarily decided to call home. Himiko wasn't up yet, but she trusted me to do nothing but go to school and back, and I wouldn't dare betray that trust.

"Aldera Junior High"

When I finally got to the classroom I gave a simple nod to the teacher before heading to the back row and sitting behind a familiar mop of green hair and freckles, who was busy writing away in his notebook and mumbling to himself.

He heard the shuffle of me putting my own notebook on my desk behind him and quickly turned around with a huge, dorky grin on his face.

"Goodmorning Kitogo! Did you see the hero action this morning?"

I gave a small smile, finding his innocence and excitement rather sweet. "No, I didn't. What happened?"

Midoriya continued ranting about the pro heroes he saw in action, like Kamui Woods and Mount Lady, while excitedly shoving his notebook in my face for me to see his sketches. Since I'd only transferred to this school a couple of months ago, I wasn't very close with anyone, but Midoriya always made it a point to talk to me since I sat behind him and didn't judge him being quirkless as some of our classmates had. In fact, he might've assumed that I was also quirkless since I didn't like to use it much, especially around other people.

I couldn't really absorb all of his mutterings with everything else on my mind, so I simply continued to give him my signature small smile, nodding along to his words. This continued until the teacher walked in, leaving Midoriya to return to quietly scribbling in his notebook as our teacher spoke.

"Since you're all third years, it's time for you to think seriously about your future," our teacher began, his voice sounding serious as he waved a stack of papers around. "I'll pass our handouts for your future plans now, but...you're all...pretty much planning to go into the hero course, right?"

With his last sentence, his tone changed dramatically to be upbeat and happy rather than serious, and a chorus of "yeah's" filled the room as my classmates activated their quirks, showing them off as they thought about attending a high school for heroes in training.

I watched as Midoriya meekly rose his hand but was ignored, and I sunk down into my chair, muttering "using your quirks in this school is against the rules..."

An arrogant voice cut through the rest of the group, drawing all of our attention as Bakugo Katsuki spoke up.

"Don't lump us all in the same group." He sat in an interesting position that I thought must be uncomfortable, his legs being propped up on his desk while his head hung back. "I'm not gonna be stuck at the bottom with the rest of these rejects!"
