Lily

Hi! I'm lilyflower1603, also known as Lily to the ladies of this ministry. I'm a Bible verse writer for She_Flourishes and am the co-founder/Administrator for BloomMinistries which is also a Christian ministry. I am the first of seven children in a Christian family and we live on a small farm in Alabama. I am a big introvert and what I lack in audible words, I make up for in my writing.

Reading and writing have always played a big role in my life and now that I'm older and still growing and maturing in many ways, I still have found writing to be even more enjoyable and therapeutic, especially when I write about God and how wonderful He is.

My biggest dream to write a book that I can someday publish. Right now, it's a slow process, but after years of attempting stories I've never finished, I am determined to complete my current work.

I am almost 20 years old but yet I have always had an old soul. I enjoy knitting, crocheting and sometimes sewing and embroidery. My entire family has probably been gifted enough knitted hats and scarves to last them a lifetime. (Even though it doesn't stay cold very long here in Alabama.)

My favorite book/movie tastes are quite old fashioned as well. I enjoy any type of period dramas like Downton Abbey, Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, etc. I am also a sucker for Disney princess movies and always have been. The 2015 remake of Cinderella is probably my most favorite live action Disney film. (Aladdin comes in at a close second.)

For music, my taste is mainly movie soundtracks, film scores, and Celtic music. Specifically the soundtracks for Cinderella, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Lord Of The Rings just to name a few. Celtic Woman, Hayley Westenra, Peter Hollens, and Eurielle are some of my favorite singers. I like to sing as well, but I'm usually very shy about my voice.
