Last day of summer Chapter 1

It all started April 13th when she was at her best friends charlottes house and got a phone call at 2:54 pm, it was her mother telling her to get home right now! Kelly was confused. Kelly's mom didn't tell her what had happened or what to say! She stuttered...oh okay.
Kelly had whispered " mom why are you crying"? Kelly's mom said " get home". So Kelly did just that rushed home as fast has she could. She stepped one foot in the doorway and her mom yelled " keep your coat and shoes on we're going to the hospital" Kelly twitched her head to her moms direction and said " wait a minute where is dad"? Mom didn't answer she said it again " mom where is dad"? Kelly's mom Tiffany said " your father had a stroke". Kelly was quite for a long 5 mins just thinking to her self how could this happen? Mom said " I will explain what happen but I need you to get in the car now we have to go". I agreed to what she said. I hoped in the car. I started the car and mom hoped in. As soon as Kelly's mom Tiffany got in the car it started to down poor and 10 mins as they were driving it started to hail. Kelly was rambling on about what was happening with a very strange look Kelly turned to her mom and screamed " WATCH OUT" Kelly's mom yield into another car. They both went up in flames...
1 week later...
"Eyes widen" kelly opens her slightly and placed her hand on her forehead and shuck her head her first words were " where am I" someone opened curtains Kelly could tell by the sound but she couldn't see because she was so tired the lady said " oh your awake I didn't except that did I wake you? Kelly replied" no not at all but could you please tell me where I am and who you are? The lady said " of course" . " I am Melissa I am a nurse your nurse, you are in the hospital". So you remember anything that happened can you tell me what you remember"? But first the nurse asked her some questions.
1. Whats your name?
2. Where do you feel pain?
3. Do you know what happened?
4. Where are you?
Kelly was stunned she had no clue what had happened and after the nurse asked her all these questions she didn't know what to say
Well Kelly said " my name is Kelly I feel slit of pain mostly my neck, ankle,index finger,and chest I am at the hospital like you said and your my nurse but I have no clue what happened":(
The nurse huffed until she could come up with an idea... What was the last thing you remember"? I couldn't spit the words out I honestly didn't remember Kelly said to the nurse " can you explain what happened"? Kelly sat
up.
