Yuu Otosaka x SMR

Request from Lucaius, slight angst as wanted.

Yuu and Y/n were a couple since two years. Y/n was with Yuu when his sister died, when he was depressed and agressive, he was there when Yuu turned back time and saved his sister. Y/n was the only thing that kept Yuu alive during those hard times, he helped him keep the last bit of sanity. So when Y/n got in a car accident, Yuu's world crashed down. Since that day Yuu was spending his days and nights at his hospital bed.

-I passed the finals. - he said to Y/n's form. He was kept in coma for five months now. - Everyone misses you, you know? But I miss you the most. - mutterd Yuu, holding Y/n's hand. - When you wake up I will help you get back with school stuff and will love you like you loved me when I was a mess. But please wake up soon, because I miss you so much. - Yuu didn't notice when he started crying. - I'm a wreck without you. - he sobbed.

Yuu couldn't calm down. With every passing day he was losing hope for Y/n to wake up. He hated himself for that, he felt pathetic and hopeless that he couldn't help his lover. Yuu desperately needed to feel Y/n's arms around him. He needed Y/n to kiss him like he used to. He missed and needed it all.

-Baby, I love you. - sobbed Yuu. He didn't even hope to hear it back anymore. He just played it in his mind like a broken record. - And I know you love me too, you just can't say it out loud.

Time skip

Yuu graduated from school. He knew he should be happy, but he couldn't. He imagined this day way different. In the past, whenever he would think about it, Y/n would be to hold him and give him a kiss in front of the whole school. And Yuu would feel the jealous gazes of other girls and guys who wanted Y/n.

-Hi baby. - said Yuu as he walked in Y/n's hospital room. Yuu kissed Y/n's cheek and sat down at his side. He took Y/n's hand in his and leaned against his shoulder. - I haven't slept in days, I was so stressed. I can't really say what gave me this stress. The finals are over, the final grades have been given, and yet I feel anxious.

Yuu rubbed small circles on Y/n's hand with his thumb. When Y/n's hand twitched, he didn't pay it any mind. He thought that he just tickled him and his body reacted on its own. But when he felt movement under his head, he looked up. His eyes widened when he saw Y/n's face smiling at him. Yuu didn't know what to do. His mind was racing. Was it a dream?

-Y/n...- muttered Yuu. - You're awake.

-I am. - Y/n smiled and coughed. Yuu opened a bottle of water he had in his back and handed it to him. Y/n took big gulps of water, bringing himself relief. - Thanks babe.

-You have no idea how long I wanted to hear your voice. - said Yuu, sobbing lightly. When Y/n saw that the sobs are getting harder, he pulled Yuu in his chest and hugged him tight. Yuu nuzzled Y/n's neck as he cried. Y/n played with his hair and muttered sweet nothings in his ear until he calmed down.

-How long I was out? - asked Y/n.

-Seven months. - answered Yuu, when he finally calmed down.

-I'm sorry I left you for so long. - he said.

-The accident wasn't your fault. -retorted Yuu. - The most important fact is that you're awake.

Y/n nodded with a small smile on his face and pulled Yuu closer. He could only imagine how Yuu missed his kisses. Y/n closed the gap between them and kissed his lover passionately, making him believe that it wasn't a dream.

Time skip

A week later Y/n was allowed to go home. Yuu was more then delighted to pick him up. Their friends held a party for Y/n's comeback, but that all didn't matter. Y/n was squeezing Yuu in his arms during the day and in the night. Finally Yuu's bed wasn't cold and his life got its purpose back.

-What are you thinking of? - asked Y/n as they were laying in bed, napping after dinner.

-How happy I am that I have you back. -Yuu answered with a smile on his face. - And that I love you.

-I love you too babe. - smiled Y/n. He buried his face in Yuu's hair and squeezed him in his arms as they fell asleep together.
