Being what you were wasn't easy, you could always be in danger because of scientists and biologists.

In general being a mermaid wasn't easy, your parents would tell you how dangerous the outside world was and how you always had to stay at the bottom of the ocean for your safety.

One day, being the trouble child you were you snuck away from home and went towards the surface, while also being cautious and staying away from danger.

You were looking around when you saw a kid trying to swim up to the surface, he looked around your age.... And his tale was split or it wasn't a tail.

You grabbed him by his waist and pushed him up quickly, he gasped for air and he looked around until he saw you.

"can't you breath underwater?" you asked him and he shook his head slowly.

"why?.... You can?" he asked and you nodded.

"don't tell this to anyone but I am a mermaid" you said and he silently gasped.

"can I see your tail?" he asked and you nodded as you brought out your tail.

"so what were you doing down there?" you asked him.

"I lost my new earrings... It was a gift from my mom" he said.

"..... Do you want mine?" you said and he looked at you.

"really? You would let me have them?" he asked and you nodded and you took your earrings off and put them on him.

"here you go, I can search for your earrings and wear them and then we'll have something to remember each other" you said in a happy tone.

"why? Won't we be able to see each other again?" he asked you

"well... everyone are forbidden for going to surface because it's dangerous, it's because of some humans, I guess that's what you people are called" you said.

"I would like to meet you again someday!!" he said.

"what's your name? Mine is (y/n)" you said.

"my name is Jotaro kujo" he said and the two of you shook hands.

"you don't have to worry, your secret is safe with me, plus I'm not new to different and new creatures, my grandpa fought some immortal beings when he was a teenager!" he said.

"vampires?" you asked.

"well, they were the ones that made vampires.... I don't remember how they're called" he said.

"the pillarpeople?" you asked and he nodded.

"he had to kill two of them, the leader is somewhere in space and the fourth one is held somewhere" he said

"they are bad! They tried to kill us for research purposes and they say that they're not similar to humans" you said angrily.

"Jotaro!!!! Jotaro where are you!!?!???" a woman started yelling.

"that's my mom, she's really worried, can you help me go to her, you can be underneath the water so you won't be seen" he said and you nodded as you dived in and helped swim, when you were close to people you peaked your head out.

"I'm gonna leave you here, it's dangerous for me to be close to other people, I hope I can see you soon" you said and he nodded and you left, he swam back to his mother and she hugged him.

"Jotaro!! Please don't scare me like that" she said and he nodded.

"let's go back home, grandma and grandpa will soon arrive!!" she said and they left.
