Falling asleep was hard, yes, but having to wake up to a cold bed was even worst.
Rose woke up due to the room being too cold witch never bothered her, she used to sleep in a cold room in Popsin it wasn't something new and to be true she liked the cold, but this was too much. It felt like a freezer, the blankets that were on top of her were not helping at all. It was winter, so she decided to stand up even though she didn't want to and grab something that would make her feel warm. But as she was about to step down from her bed she didn't feel a soft carped but ice-cold water. Her eyes searching the place around her, and the site leaving her in pure terror.
The bed was in the middle of nowhere, a stream flowing underneath it, and trees surrounding the stream, the moonlight barely gave of any kind of light due to the trees being so tall.
The air was freezing and the milled wind didn't do any justice to Rose's barley-covered body. She was wearing a thin nightgown that went to her knees and nothing else. Even though she didn't want to go and look around, she had to if she wanted to stay alive. No one knows what could happen to a girl like her in the middle of nowhere. She could be eaten alive or someone could do something to her, who knows right? So with all of the strength she had, she stood up and started to walk through the cold water, trying to find a way back to the house.
She walked and walked, she found herself getting out of the water and walking by foot on the grass. It didn't seem as though she was getting anywhere near the house instead she found herself in a thicker forest-like place. You would think it would be morning by now, but no, it was still the young moon, it seemed like the time had stopped.
The wind got even stronger as she neared a place where she could see something standing in the water. It was just placed there not moving, not doing anything. She didn't know what was going on, the place seemed familiar, and as she got near the thing she saw from afar, she remembered.
She came back to the same place she started, she walked all this way to get back to the same place, she was furies all of this time she was walking in a big circle! She didn't notice that the wind got so strong until she fell to the ground. It was so loud it was ringing in her ears, that's when she heard loud thumping sounds. That loud stomping sound joined the winds howl in her ears. Then she remembered that this sound wasn't new to her ears she heard it earlier that day in the park with her sisters, as she was about to get up and start running she hear growling and the wind stopped, all she could hear was the big feet stomping on the ground, now louder than before. She turned to the back of her where she heard the stomping come from and saw a big black monster type of creature. He was most probably 3 meters tall, two big red balls in the place where its eyes were supposed to be, claws as a hand and it had its bouns showing through its skin, his head was almost vanishing where its heir was supposed to be. Yeah, it was scary, but the red substance that was covering its body and was dripping off of its fingers forced Rose to imagine what would happen to her if she didn't start to run at that moment. Her life is her dearest thing at the moment so she collected herself and stood up and started to run. She heard the monster's big feet run after her, she knew she wasn't going to make it, judging by the size of the monster itself. As she thought that she wasn't getting out of there alive, she noticed a white shining light at the corner of her eye. Was she a hundred percent sure about the safety of that light, no, but did she have another choice when she knew that she probably would be eaten by the huge thing running after her?
Non the less she made a right turn and ran to the source of light. She felt the grass and the branches cutting her ice-cold feet, she could feel the sting left by the wounds on the bottom of her feet. But that didn't stop her, she ran as fast as she can and she made it to the light, which turned out to be a door. She tried to open it but it was stuck. She wasn't physically strong to open a jammed shut door! And the fact that the black monster was just 5 meters away from her didn't help at all. The monster gave another step it bent down and reached to grab Rose.
In numerous attempts to open the door, as the monster was bending down to grab her, with one last harsh pull Rose opened the door and ran inside immediately closing the door behind her. As she closed the door she felt her eyes start to burn from the really bright light, so she closed them but it was for no use. She fell to the ground and everything went black.
Cold sweat took over her body as she jumped up from the bed. She looked around and sighed in relief, she was back in her room. To be honest, she didn't think she would feel this happy to be back in this room. It was morning by now so she stood up, but instead of walking, she fell to the ground for the ninth time that day. Why did she fall you may ask? Well, the unusual pain at the bottom of her feet was stopping her from being able to walk properly. She looked at them and noticed open wounds on them and they were dirty too. But, she just shrugged it off of her mind and stood up carefully, went to the bathroom took a shower, and bandaged her hurt feet with some bandage that she had found in the first-aid kit in the kitchen. She was kind of suspicious of the wounds on her feet, they looked way too similar to the ones in the dream. But none the less she was relieved that it was only a dream....or was it?
