Consequences | Seven
BIKE DATE

Day 4.

Ten checked his calendar and he didn't expect that it was now actually day 4 which means they only have 3 days left about their deal. Time flies so fast that he didn't notice it's been 4 days since his and Taeyong's encounter... which means after that week everything will be back to normal again... Ten's not so sure about it.

He just shrugs. "What are you thinking, Ten? Are you out of your mind? Stop thinking about it and just focus on what's gonna happen today." he said to himself.

Ten was currently eating his cereal when he received a text message from Taeyong saying that he want to go on a bike date with him. To be honest that text message from Taeyong made him smile from ear to ear. Ten immediately called Taeyong which the latter answered on the third ring.

"Hey, why did you call?" Taeyong asked.

"You're really sure about the bike date? Just tell me so I'll be sure if you're just joking or not."

Taeyong chuckles "Of course, I'm serious about it. So, what time should we go to the park? It's still early if we'll go there right now though."

"Great! At least I'm one hundred percent sure now that you're not backing out," he laughs "Okay so what about 4 pm? Is it okay with you?"

"Sure, I'm okay with that." Taeyong replied but it seems that he still has something to say so Ten didn't answer him and waited for him to talk again "Ah, Ten. I just have a favor..."

"I knew it. What is it though? Are you gonna borrow some money from me or something?"

Taeyong laughs and it seems that his laugh is music to Ten's ears "No, you shorty, I just want you to come with me. I'm going to the mall this afternoon. So, uhh, wanna come with me?"

"Sure. As long as it's your treat." Ten firmly said.

"Of course, it's my treat. We can go on with our bike date after we go to the mall."

"Sure, it's settled then?"

"Yeah. I'll be there in 10 minutes."

"What the fuck, Lee Taeyong? Are you serious? I'm not yet done with my breakfast and you told me we'll go to the mall in the afternoon. So, tell me-"

"I want to eat breakfast with you. I ordered some chicken and I want to share it with you. Is that enough reason for me to go there in ten minutes?"

Ten smiled widely after hearing Taeyong's reason so he said "Okay, sure. I can't say no to chicken anyway. Just ring the doorbell, T."

"Okay, shorty. I'll see you in ten minutes." Taeyong said and then he waited for Ten to drop the call.

Ten minutes have passed and just like that Taeyong ring the doorbell and Ten opened his door. Ten shakes his head. "Ah this dork!" he said on his mind 'He got two buckets of chicken this early in the morning?!'

"Hey, what's with that face?" Taeyong suddenly asked him when he was now inside Ten's apartment then he placed the bucket of chicken on the table.

"Two buckets of chicken? Seriously? Taeyong, are you sure we're gonna finish that? I bet we'll still be full by lunch for Pete's sake!" Ten blurted out before going back to his seat and continuing eating his cereal.

"It's a challenge, Ten. Will you be able to finish six chickens? Let's see because I know I can finish six pieces of chicken." Taeyong said while looking at Ten. Taeyong's sure he can finish eating the six chickens as long as he'll not eat rice and just chicken.

"A challenge? Well, that's unfair because I'm already eating my cereal." Ten rolled his eyes.

Taeyong laughs at the shorty but he had this bright idea so it'll be a fair challenge. "I'll finish the other half so it'll be a fair challenge. Are you okay with that?"

Ten stared at him as if he was shocked that Taeyong said that but after thinking for a couple of minutes, he gave his bowl to Taeyong and gave him a spoon. "Okay, here you go. I'll start eating the chicken now okay?"

"Sure," Taeyong nods "After I eat the cereal, I'll eat my chicken as well."

In the next few minutes, both of them just continue eating their breakfast. Ten's getting full when he's already eating his fifth chicken but Ten is a competitive person and he doesn't want to lose to Taeyong. On the other hand, Taeyong's almost done with his chicken, and to be honest Ten's shocked but he doesn't want Taeyong to see that so he remains silent.

"I'm almost done." Taeyong said and Ten just rolled his eyes and that made Taeyong laughs "Why are you rolling your eyes on me?" he laughs again "You're just cute, shorty."

There was a big thump on his chest when Ten heard the word "cute" from Taeyong and he admit that made him feel some butterflies in his stomach. "Shut up, I know I am," he said.

Taeyong nodded "Yeah. It's obvious."

"Yah, stop it! Just eat your chicken and then we'll go to the mall and park"

"..for a date" Taeyong completed Ten's sentence.

Ten just rolled his eyes... again. "T, you're unpredictable. Really unpredictable."

After eating their breakfast if that's still it, both of them succeeded in eating all of the chicken. Taeyong waited for Ten to get dressed up in the living room since he was already dressed up when he went to Ten's apartment. This time Ten just wear his casual white t-shirt and black jeans to match Taeyong's black t-shirt and white jeans.

"I already booked an Uber for us, don't worry," Taeyong said as soon as he saw Ten approaching him.

"Oh, you did? Wow, you're really ready about this, huh?" Ten chuckled

"Yeah. I should be." Taeyong laughs "It's a date."

Ten rolled his eyes... again. for the nth time. "Yeah, a date. Taeyong, I know. Date."

When their Uber arrived, they went out of Ten's apartment and made sure to lock it and then they get inside the vehicle. Both of them are in the backseat but Taeyong made sure to not sit close to Ten so he can still have his personal space. Of course, he still respect the shorty's personal space.

"What are you buying though?" Ten asked Taeyong while they were inside the mall. They already checked two different stores but it seems like Taeyong's still looking for something else.

"Either a watch or shoes. Help me decide too." Taeyong casually said then he went inside a shoe outlet so Ten followed him.

"Go with shoes, you can never go wrong with shoes." Ten commented and Taeyong agreed with him.

"Sure, let's just buy shoes from this outlet," Taeyong said as he chooses carefully for the design of the shoes displayed. Taeyong also keeps on asking Ten what he think about each of the design so he would be sure if he'll buy it or not.

After a couple of minutes of choosing the right shoes to buy and also debating with Ten, Taeyong finally manage to choose one shoe. It's a Prada Mechano Sneakers to be exact.

"So, how are you feeling?" Ten asked Taeyong when they went out of the shoe outlet.

"I feel good." Taeyong laughs "Thank you for helping me pick the right shoes. Now we can peacefully go to the park and go on with our bike date."

Ten chuckles. "Isn't this lowkey a date already? I mean also when you bought a bucket of chicken this morning and now we're at the mall," he shrugs "I think this is a date already. Don't even say no!"

Taeyong smiles "Well, it is. And to be honest I want to eat breakfast with you and do shopping with you and later the bike date so I could spend this whole day with you."

Ten smiles. "Aww, that's sweet."

"Are you falling for me now?" Taeyong joked.

"Heck no. That's not in my vocabulary." Ten firmly said. He was so sure. So sure that he won't eat the words he just said.

Taeyong laughs, of course. "I know. I'm just kidding. I know you won't fall for me. That's not your thing. Besides, the blind date thing."

Ten nodded. "Yeah, exactly! I'm sure you're excited about that blind date after all of this setup."

Taeyong? Excited? Taeyong just smiled... 'Excited about the blind date with Ten's friend? Not sure about it now.' Taeyong thought.

Before Ten and Taeyong went to the park for their bike date, they went to a milktea shop for a drink, and then Taeyong finally booked their Uber.

It was exactly 5 in the afternoon when they arrived at the park. The both of them immediately went to the bike booth. They even saw some scooters and Taeyong noticed that Ten's eyes are on the scooters.

"Want to try the scooter instead of a bike, shorty?"

Ten stared at Taeyong for a solid two minutes before asking him. "Is it okay with you? I mean you invited me for a bike date and not a scooter date." He scratches the back of his head. "Uhm, okay, let's just go use a bike. I'm just curious about the scooter. Besides, you're the one paying for this so who am I to complain."

Taeyong smiles widely. He thinks Ten is really cute when he speaks about what is on his mind. To be honest, he didn't expect that Ten would actually be curious about the scooter but it's really okay with him if Ten wants to try the scooter instead of the bike. Besides, he just wants to spend that day with him. "Go on, Ten, use the scooter."

"Are you sure, T?" Ten was hesitant. He wants Taeyong to confirm it again.

"Yes, Ten. Let's use the scooter. I'm now curious about the scooter as well."

"Yay!" Ten happily clapped his hands and suddenly pulled Taeyong to the scooters. Ten was so excited that he didn't notice that he was already holding Taeyong's hands. "You can use this and I'll use the other one. Let's try it now!" Ten happily said while Taeyong was busy looking at their clasped hands.

"Uhh, yeah, sure!" Taeyong managed to say without being too obvious that he was actually shocked that they are holding hands at that very moment. Well, not just shocked because Taeyong was sure that his heartbeat is pounding so bad.

"Okay! I'm gonna hop on first." Ten said as he finally let go of Taeyong's hand and hopped on the scooter. "Hurry, T! We should enjoy this scooter date now. It's now or never!"

Taeyong just nodded as he hopped on his scooter and suddenly thought. 'Fuck. Why do I feel weird now? Am I the one who's gonna be attached and fall for Ten?'

Three hours have passed and both of them are already tired from scootering around the park and the near neighborhood but one thing is for sure, both of them enjoyed the day with each other.

It is evident that both of them had fun because even after returning the scooter to the booth, they can't stop talking about their scooter date!

"I can't believe you hit a tree earlier, T!" Ten shook his head while laughing so hard. "I thought you can handle the scooter well but you went straight to the tree!"

Taeyong can't believe Ten's mocking him so he suddenly said, "Oh, let's talk about when you suddenly crashed into a trash bin, Ten!"

"Oh no!!! Let's not talk about that. We're just clumsy sometimes."

Taeyong laughed. "At least we enjoy the day!"

"We definitely did!"

Ten smiled at Taeyong. "Thanks, T. I really enjoyed this date."

"I enjoyed this date too, Ten. Thanks for agreeing with this bike or rather scooter date."

Ten nodded and stared at Taeyong for a solid three minutes before blurting out the question on his mind. "Is it okay if I uhh... hug you, T?"

Taeyong's shocked... again. But this one is so evident because Ten suddenly got shy.

"Ah, fuck. Don't mind me. We should just go home."

Taeyong chuckles. "You can hug me, Ten."

And just like that Ten hugged the tall guy and said, "Thanks, T. I'm so happy."

"I'm happy too, Ten. I really am."
