Hawaii, USA – July 2016

"You really became more beautiful after all these years, Da Hae-shi."

"Stop kidding, it's not funny." She looked down and laughed.

He caressed her cheek. "When I praise you, I don't do it to get you in my bed. I praise you because you should be praised often, by someone who knows how to."

"You've just misquoted a movie" she argued.

"So, what? I'm an actor... But some feelings can't be faked."

"Is that a way to say that you love me?"

He cut the distance and kissed her. "If you doubt that again, I'm going on a strike" he replied and frowned.

"Shut up" she rolled her eyes, then she kissed him again. Once they separated, she started looking around her with suspicious eyes.

“Something wrong?”

She bit her lip and shrugged. “I'm still not used to it.”

He laughed softly and looked on his side. Oh, now he got it. “If you are bothered by it, we won't do it anymore.”

She shook her head. “No, silly. I have asked you to do it. At least here, since we are in the USA and they are more open to PDA.”

He took her hand from her lap and put it on the table to hold it tight. “Right. But you are bothered anyway because you know some have been staring for quite a while now.”

“Ye...s” she murmured, and with her free hand she sipped her glass of water. “I am quite surprised that they recognize us over here. It's not like we are famous.”

He laughed again. “Dang, Da Hae-shi. I told you that I would praise you and you reply like that? Of course we are not that famous. But people still recognize us. And ever since -”

She put her finger on his mouth to shut him up. “Jagiya. Let's not forget while we are here. I don't want to argue.”

His eyes widen. He cannot understand why she would want to argue over something silly like this. “Alright, I'll stop talking. Should we also leave this place and move somewhere else?”

She nodded and stood up. “It would be better.”

He stood up after her and asked her to wait there because he is going to pay the bill of the bar.

That day they didn't do much. They got cozy in their hotel bed until noon and room service knocked on their door. Da Hae was happy because he had ordered one of her favorite foreign foods, and he felt satisfied because if there was one thing he wanted, would be make her happy anywhere. She looked like she was in a good mood during the last three days, but somehow he felt she wasn't feel at ease and wanted to find out why.

They walked hand in hand in the busy road full of tourists. He had tons of questions through his head that he wanted to ask, but he decided to kept silent not to worsen the situation. Since they had left the place they had drinks at, Da Hae seemed more relaxed. Maybe she just didn't like people staring at her while she kissed her partner, or maybe she just wanted to discuss over something stupid since there was something bigger bothering her.

AH, to find out what that was. He felt very powerless so he decided to please her to see if perhaps her mood just depended from that. That is why he took her on the beach.

“Why are we going here?” she asked, but her tone didn't look like the one of an angry person.

He looked towards her to reply. “We haven't gone to the beach since we've come here. Since you told me you didn't want to go in the daylight because you could get tanned and ruin your fair skin, then I thought you wouldn't oppose if I'd took you at night.”
