                    Jason's Pov

I walk into the creek. "Here Jason,(y/n) gave all of us these jelly beans." Kit says handing me a bag of jelly beans. I hand it back to Kit, "I have braces dumbo." I roll my eyes. Ding. A text,from (y/n). I feel some butterflies in my stomach but ignore them. 'Hey pretty boy,happy birthday,meet me at (idk what the trees name is)' I walk over. Did she remember my birthday? It's no big deal if she didn't. But deep down I know I do care. I go over to the tree and walk in.  "Hey beauti-........ " I look at (y/n) only to see......(y/n) crying? "why are you crying?" I say rushing over to her,cupping her face in my hands. "Did someone hurt you? Oh when I get my hands on them-" "No! It's nothing. I'm fine." She says wiping the tears away. "It's obviously not. What happened?" "It's nothing.Ugh this is so dumb today's meant to be about you....this is so dumb." She mutters wiping away more tears. "It's not dumb. As a junior forest scout you need to tell me." She giggles,darn her laughs so cute. "Fine. I tripped on the ladder on my way down. It hurt like crap." (Y/n) says bawling up next to me. "That does sound like it would hurt." (Y/n) sits silently next to me sniffling and trying to compose herself. "So," she says wiping some tears away,grabbing something from her bag. "I brought sandwiches and fruit." She smiles setting them in between us. We both eat them together talking and laughing. "So,what did you get me?" I ask sarcastically. "You gotta close your eyes." She says. "Alright," I say slightly confused. I hear some rummaging around and then nothing. "You can open your eyes now." (Y/n) says trying to suppress a laugh but failing. I open my eyes and (y/n) gives me a kiss on the cheek. I sit there confused... did that really just happen?  "Oh-um sorry I shouldn't have done tha-" I give her a kiss back. After we both sit there silently for a minute. "You look cute when you're flustered." (Y/n) says. "I do not!" "Do too." "Do not!" "Do too." "So,wanna like go on a date sometime? I don't really care but-" "Sure." (Y/n) smiles rolling her eyes. "(Y/n) has a boyfriend! (Y/n) has a boyfriend!" (S/n) says dancing around. "How did you get here!" (Y/n) says flustered and annoyed. "Moms busy so I came down here to hang out with you. But I'd like to meet your boyfriend first." They say sitting down next to us. After her bombarding me with questions (y/n) has to go home. She packs up all of her stuff. "I'll meet you at the library at 2 pretty boy." She says walking off. "Bye beautiful." I smile. "You've got a date~!" (S/n) says as they walk away.
