Chapter 3

It was getting late, and the sun had fully set, and mum called us in to go to bed.

Me and Chloe wanted to stay out later but tomorrow we had lots to do before leaving for Hogwarts on Wednesday morning. The next morning I woke up to everyone rushing around and yelling at each other hurry up mum yelled at me I was a bit confused as why they was all rushing whats going on I asked curiously we have to leave for the train in half an hour Fred said but its Tuesday I answered I thought we dont leave till tomorrow I asked, Fred looked at me as if I was going crazy and said no its Wednesday yesterday was Tuesday I had a sudden panic as I needed to gather my stuff as fast as I could but managed to do it with the help of Chloe is everyone ready to leave mom asked everyone replied with yes. Once we arrived at platform 9 ¾ we all said goodbye to mum and dad and got on the train. Me and Chloe found our own compartment to sit in, not long after we sat down someone came in and sat down next to me, it was Luna, one of mine and Chloes best friends. hello Naomi hello Chlo Luna spoke in a soft tone hello Luna I replied excitedly its been ages since we were all together Chloe added how have you been Luna asked well Ive missed you both so much Chloe said smiling weve missed you too I said a few minutes later we heard anything from the trolly dears so we all got excited to get something sweet from the trolly but it turned out to be Fred and George pranking us you got me excited Luna moaned yeah me too I agreed sorry guys Fred said laughing we was just having a bit of fun George added. A few hours went by and we was almost at Hogwarts, we all changed into our robes and was excited to be back at what we called our second home as we got there Hagrid noticed me Luna and Chloe all get off the train and said welcome home girls we all smiled and gave him a hug Ive missed you Hagrid I said Ive missed yous three too he said with a great big friendly smile on his face lets get you lot inside for the feast Hagrid said mainly talking to Ron, Ron shot round from Harry to us did someone say food Ron asked, everyone laughed while Ron stood there hungry. We all went to the great hall to have a feast, but first Dumbledore had his start of year toast/speech, just a few rules I must say for the first-year students, the forest is forbidden, if you go in you will be punished, no wandering the corridors after hours, in case of emergency follow your prefects they will know what to do. Thats all I wish to say this year, everyone enjoy your feast. After dinner me and Chloe went back to our dorm and saw Neville sitting in front of the fire, he didnt look quite right though, Neville are you ok I asked no not really Neville replied sounding upset oh gosh Neville whats wrong Chloe asked as we was getting concerned I just got a owl saying my nan has died Neville said as if he was holding back tears oh Neville Im so sorry I said as I gave him a hug to comfort him, Chloe looked at me and then walked out the room to give me and Neville time alone, thank you Naomi Neville said sniffling hey Neville can I ask you something I said while pulling out from a hug anything he replied why are you trying not to cry, its obvious you want to but your trying not too Neville looked at me for a minute before saying honestly, its because I dont want everyone to think Im a cry baby, especially you Neville had started to cry at this point awe Neville no one will think youre a cry baby I said comforting him thanks Naomi Neville got up to leave the room um Neville can I ask you one more thing of course anything he said wiping his tears away what did you mean especially me I asked curiously well I Neville paused I kind of have a crush on you
