Blanche adjusted her black jacket, making her way up the three-step bus staircase. As usual, she was here early; the bus driver wasn't present, the bus's engine was turned off, and it was perfect silence.
Well, inside of the bus, that is.
Blanche would sit in the first seat even though she left last, put her things next to her as if they occupied a spot of their own, flipping out her iPhone, and doing whatever to make time fly.
While the bus engine turned up, it began to bounce, and Blanche heard her name repeated, once again.
"Such noise..." She mumbled to herself, looking up with completely no interest.
"What?" Blanche murmured at the figure standing before her.
"Can I sit with you?" The figure, or girl, smiled, her lips asking politely to sit with Blanche, yet her face also asking for Blanche's friendship, or to at least get along.
Blanche scowled.
"No," She replied bluntly.
The girl's light pink lips drooped from their sweet friendly smile into a frown with brows down as an addition.
People began to awe up the scene by making howling noises;
no one was as mean as Blanche currently to just say 'no'.
The girl didn't move on to the back like Blanche expected and rather have wanted.
"All the seats in the back are full," the girl pointed to farther in the bus, her voice raising in pitch and sounding quite disatisfied, like she had never been disrespected in person like this before.
Blanche only stared at the girl like she was a dull painting.
"There is no room in the back." The girl added emphasis to her sentence.
"Sid'down!" The bus driver yelled, starting the movement of the bus.
Blanche removed her things and placed them on her lap, finally letting the girl sit. Blanche continued swiping through her phone, a side of her jacketed back facing the girl.
