So I hope you enjoyed the first chapter that I wrote, I didn't realize it but it is actually pretty short. Anyways! Maybe this chapter you will hear more from Carly. Or maybe more "accidents" with Liam and Jane! Read to find out!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It's been the first week of school here at John Hill High School. I've gotten used to the crazy 4 way hallways and the football guys who believe that they own the school in itself! Well that's why they couldn't even make it to the playoffs.
Since as long and far back as I can remember I have always enjoyed running. I was part of the cross country team back at my old school that was 6th place in state. I have no idea how good this school is in running so when I showed up I expected them to be running at the pace of a turtle. But I was wrong for sure. During the season that they just had, they were 5th in the state. Now I have to prove as a sophmore that I can keep up with the Seniors and Juniors who made varsity their freshmen year.
When I started at this school as part of the cross country/ track team everyone stared at me like I was some worthless banana peel. But when I ran they were taken back and didn't talk crap to me anymore. That's the way that I like it. But I also like it when people talk bad about me because when I show them up, well they know to shut their mouths.
Finally the weekend. I have been waiting for this day to come. Every week is never ending, even in Florida. I was sitting on the couch in the living room with my brother Mark who is in the 1st grade. And my older brother, Ian, who is a senior at John Hill High School. Their was a knock at the door, I got up to answer it and when I opened a familar face popped up. Carly.
"Hey, Carly. Can I help you with something?" I asked tentatively
"Hi, Jane was it? Well I saw that you were talking to Liam. Well I think that it is best if you know that he is currently not single. So back off of him and don't act all innocent around him when we both know that you are just playing mind games with everyone." she sneared.
"Oh my. I am terribly sorry. I had no idea that y'all were a couple. My apoligizes!" I quickly responded.
"Well, Liam and I aren't currently a couple. I mean I know we will be very soon. I have seen the way that he looks at me and then I see the way that he looks at you. It is different. And you think that some football legend is going to want to date some low life country hick who has a hard to believe is real tan that is in cross country and track? C'mon use your brain sweet heart. He wants a girl like me, star volleyball player. Blonde hair, blue eyes, natural beautiful complexion. Now that that is settled I best get going. I don't want to be caught near your house." with that she marched to the car waiting for her in the driveway.
I slowly shut the door and began to process what she just said to me. I can't like/possibly date Liam because he is currently not single but likes someone so he is not avaible.... This girl really is not the sharpest tack in the box.
"Who was that?" my brother Mark.
"Just some girl from school. She had a question about something from school. It is all good now don't you worry." I replied.
"It sounded to me like she was argueing or yelling at you over something. Are you trying to hide something from us. You know that Mark and I will find out whatever it is." chimed in Ian.
"It's nothing that y'all need to worry about. I can handle my own problems on my own. I am not that little girl anymore Ian. And if anything you need to be watching out for Mark. I think I am old enough to handle things on my own." I retorted back. I walked out of the living room and walked into the kitchen and got an apple. I don't know why I don't even want any food.
Later that night I was sitting on my bed when my phone little beep. I grabbed it and it was a number that I did not have saved into my phone. I picked it up and read. "Hey Jane, this is Liam. Don't ask how I got your number. Well I'll tell you anyway, your brother let me have it. He's pretty cool!" God I am going to have to have a nice talk with Ian, or was it Mark? Mark is always up to no good. My phone let out another beep and it said "Oh and I almost forgot to mention, are you free tomorrow night? I'm throwing a party since my parents are out of town. I would love it if you would come. And you could meet some new people since you have only been here for a week. It really is a small town. You will be known in no time! Hope to see you there! :)"
Well shoot. Should I go? I mean I really would like to meet more people and becoming more popular always sounds fun. I guess I will go. I just pray that little miss Carly is not there to ruin everything for everyone. What is her problem anyway? People usually only act like when they are worried about someone doing something to them. Maybe she thinks that I will take Liam's heart. Maybe she's right.
