Melanie Alvez is a journalist. Spencer Reid is a FBI agent for the BAU.
The two cross paths at a local bookstore where they share their love for coffee and books. Spencer's too afraid to let Melanie get close considering how dangerous his job is and how his late girlfriend, Maeve, was somehow wrapped in it and was killed. Melanie's not afraid and definitely not willing to give up on the two of them.
