Chapter One: Girl Meets Boy

"Oh come on Izzy, just ONE party"  Lexi was pleading to me. She really was the party girl.

"Lex, I have a HUGE test tomorrow and I HAVE to study..."

"So do I but i'm still going aren't I?"

"That's not what I meant... I'm not going"

                I turned on my heel and started to walk down the hall. Lexi was standing there saying to call me later and then she walked to her locker. I was hoping that no one would trip me like all the other times before but of course, Jack, the school jock had to come and ruin my dreams.
I hit the ground really hard, my papers flying everywhere. Everyone was laughing as I was picking up my things and trying not to ball my eyes out. I am sure you could tell that it hurt but I should be used to it by now. The bell rang and they bolted to class. I was still picking up my things, and then a guy walked up to me. I've seen him around, I don't know his name though. He's the emo, you can tell by his black hair and his piercing blue eyes and his.. OH ok back to reality. He was handing me my stuff and then held out his hand.  I grabbed it and he pulled me up

"Thanks." I said and I put on a smile.

"No problem." He said and walked off.

I turned around not even thinking and started staring at him as he walked off. Snap out of it Iz, get to class. I went back into reality and ran towards my class. I was late but every teacher knew when I was late because of an appointment (cuz I had a slip of course) and when I was late because some kid tripped me in the hall. I never get in the tardy or late books, I have  no to right to be in there. Anyway, about that guy.. I never really noticed how insanely cute he was. I wish I could see him again.. God I sound like a love sick puppy. Just when I snapped back into reality, again, he came into class.

I freaked out a little bit in my head.

I never noticed that he was in my class, I guess it's because he was so quiet and never really talked much. The way he walks and talks in that soothingly deep voice...and the- Jesus Christ Iz what are you doing??? FOCUS ON CLASS.

After the period is over I head to my locker and go to lunch where I tell Lexi and Mya (My two BESTEST FRIENDS EVER) about this guy.
