THE TEA GUESTS

A man sat after enjoying his tea and waited. 5 striking women came directly to his table avoiding everyone and everything else as if it didn't exist. The man's pride at what he had accomplished grew as he watched them. The grin didn't even leave his face as they stood surrounding his table. His chest seemed to puff up and his grin grew cockier.

"You've called us here not an easy task. Now, what do you wish from us as the saying goes time is money" they spat.

"I want to know my entire future. From my most recent success until I draw my last breath. Will I marry well and have a large family, will all my projects at work go well? Will I be able to provide for my family and my parents as they hit their golden years? As he drew breath to demand more answers from these women. One held up her hand as if to cut off his demands.

" You are how old again youngling" she inquired.

" I have just reached my 35th year which is old in my family. Already they ask the same questions of me that I have summoned you here to answer for me. With the passing of my Grandfather, my Father takes his place, as the eldest son I am expected to take his. "

"Sweet sweet child it is clear to us now who is at fault for this. When his time comes he will be held accountable for this meeting, Go about your life for now in peace and joy. If in time your life does not fall into place as it should then give us a call in a few yrs time" she spoke clearly and began to rise as if to end the meeting.

"But you've given me nothing as far as answers and I spent considerable money and risked my life to summon you here. I will be treated like a man to respect and reckon with. You will not leave me in such a disrespectful way. " he said

"Child you've been given more gifts this day than any other who has sought out help over the yrs. We have promised to end your torment and see your tormenter brought to justice have we not?

"You have but that brings me no rest. I must know these things so that the pressure in my mind is relieved. The future weighs so heavy on my mind that I wake gasping for air like a man dying. What is a man in my place to do? How will I find peace from these horrible nights?"

"Is that why you truly brought us here to solve for you this malady that does not truly need us to solve for you when there are so many others who would not demand our price but you sought us in their place. Answer now as this foolishness has frustrated us beyond measure. Our tolerance of your foolishness is at an end. "

"Yes, this is all I ask of you." with that all 5 women laid their hands on him, and his worry ended.
