Part - 10

Your heart started to pound fast as his lips started to move slowly yet passionately. You placed your hands on his toned muscular chest before pulling him away from you. 

It became increasingly and uncomfortably silent inside the car until Jungkook spoke.

"I….I am sorry." He irritatedly ran his fingers through his hair. "I don't know...what's getting into me when I see you with him. I don't like the way he behaves around you."

"Why are you being so jealous all of a sudden?" You know very well that it's not all of a sudden. He is green with envy from the time he saw Namjoon with you on that day. But you need to know why he is behaving like this around Namjoon. He doesn't have any problems with you talking to other men.

"Yes! I am jealous. I am jealous because you are mine. I am jealous because I love you." 

"No Jungkook. You don't love me. You never loved me." You looked away, blinking away the tears that suddenly made an appearance in your eyes. The thought of how easily he got into a relationship with Lena while you both were in a distant relationship, always made you tear up. 

'How can you move on from me if you loved me sincerely?'

"Dare to say that again." He growled after grabbing your nape with his hands, making you look into his orbs. 

He got furious by your words. He will endure anything, but saying that he didn't love you is like stabbing him in the chest. Only he knows how badly he struggled to survive those days after Lena presented the proof of your relationship with Namjoon. 

"If you loved me, you wouldn't have ditched me for Lena." You chuckled coldly. 

"Who ditched whom Y/N? It was you who left me for him." He hissed and looked away after releasing his hold on you. 

"Him?" 

It's time to get to know who is that so-called boyfriend that you don't know. 

"Namjoon!" He growled in anger. "I never loved Lena." He felt like clarifying his part. "After she had informed me about the relationship between you and Namjoon, I only moved away from your path. For me, it was hell to forget about you. She stayed with me amidst all my rejections. Her feelings seemed genuine for me. So I gave her a chance. I felt pity for her for the way she cared for me even after all my ignorance towards her love. So I didn't reject her when she asked me to marry her. I thought there was no point in hanging on to you."  A teardrop tickled down his cheeks, he wiped it away immediately.

You blinked a few times. "So it was Namjoon, that nonexistent boyfriend of mine in Lena's story."

"What do you mean?" He was befuddled to recognize the words. Nonexistent?

"I have never loved someone else, because like you, I never stopped loving  you. It is always you who I love." You revealed thinking it's better to make him understand. 

Jungkook's tensed muscles relaxed in a fraction of second and he felt overwhelming that you weren't in a relationship with someone. 

"That means all Lena said to me was a lie? Why did she fake all the proofs?" He crooked his brows in confusion. 

"I don't know what was her purpose behind that. But what hurts the most is that you believed all the lies Lena fed you. You didn't trust my love or me." 

He never inquired about this to you. He never thought that Lena would do something like this to him. There was no suspicious behavior from her part. Over that you were distant from him. That made him believe all her cooked up stories

According to him he had a reason to stay away from you. But he never knew that you were too insecure and awkward to contact him after he distanced from you. 

Jungkook deeply exhaled, drowning in guilt. He hated himself for not clarifying it with you. All he did was move from your way without knowing the truth. It was his fault.  He sacrificed his love for you, mistaking it was your happiness. He hated himself for doing that even if it was unintentional.

"I thought that's why you stopped talking to me. I was afraid that if I saw you again, I wouldn't be able to let you go. So I stayed away." His voice cracked. He went through a lot of mental trauma those days. 

There was a lack of communication between both of you. It's still there. That made the relationship drift apart and it turned out making trust issues between you and him.

If you or him had taken initiative to talk to each other, Lena had never been a part of his life.

"I am sorry Y/N. I showered you with pain and loneliness. I apologize for whenever I hurt you." He had to blink because water in his eyes was making his vision blurry. "I was so stupid to believe her lies. I broke your heart." He deeply exhaled. 

"Yours too." You both shared intense eye contact, until you decided to break it. "There is nothing we can do now rather than forgetting everything and starting new." You smiled at him making his heart flutter once again. 

Not being able to control the urge to hug you anymore, he pulled you into his embrace as your hands wrapped around his waist. "Thank you for giving me another chance."

Your shoulder started to wet with his tears, you rubbed his back. He hugged you close to himself. He missed this warmth. 

"I love you Y/N. I love you so much." He held you tighter. "Love you too." You smiled, closing your eyes. 

"But I love you more." He sniffled.

You chuckled in his embrace. "You can never!" 'You will understand it soon.' Looking up, you smiled at him. Within seconds your soft lips were captured by his into a toe curling kiss.

A week rolled down after you both shared that deep conversation. It seems like those ten years never happened in your life. The bond between you two is getting stronger by each day. 

You opened the office door of Mr. Jeon. "Dad, are you busy?" You asked before entering the room.

"No Y/N. Come sit." He motioned you to sit on the chair in front of his table. "What's the matter dear?"

"Can we disclose everything to Jungkook?" You were feeling bad for keeping secrets from him.

"Are you sure it's time for that?" Mr. Jeon removed his specs. He was waiting for everything to be back to normal between you and Jungkook for disclosing it to Jungkook and to his beloved wife. He is not ready to take any risk in the relationship of his children. 

"I feel like it's better to let him know. Anyway, what we did was all for him."

"Before disclosing everything make sure that the relationship between you both are strong enough that he never leaves your side." He doesn't want you to go through any hardships because of this. "After all, we hid all these from him. It may cause him to resent us."
