Everyone was sat pleasantly in the great hall for lunch. Flora had made it out of double potions alive and was tucking into a ham sandwich. She noticed Sirius' leg bouncing up and down frequently but ignored it; Remus was nibbling on some chocolate and James was perched next to Flora smiling.
Sirius stood up abruptly and clambered onto the table.
"HEY LISTEN UP!"Sirius boomed. Everyone turned.
"IM GAY! AS GAY AS THEY COME AND I LOVE REMUS!" He yelled. Remus was bright pink to say the least.
"Remus, if I were the moon I would want you to be my night. Will you?" He asked.
"Of course Sirius. I love you too." He replied.
The whole hall cheered, Flora swore she even saw mcgonogall and Dumbledore join in too.
"Well- I wasn't expecting that." Flora laughed and leaned into James' shoulder.
"Same. Hey hang on."
James too then got into the table.
"HEY CAN YOU LISTEN TO ME NOW?" he yelled and once again everyone turned.
"James?—"
"SINCE WERE ALL CONFESSING, FLORA. WILL YOU GO ON A DATE WITH ME?"
Flora had the sweetest smile plastered on her face and her cheeks were as rosy as ever.
"Sure James." She replied and left the hall.

Flora was walking into the common room when she saw lily evans kiss James on the cheek. She felt crushed. Flora had knitted a new cardigan frantically for the rest of day to wear for the date; and he's kissing lily Evans?
Flora ran to her room, and cried. She cried for hours. And didn't show for classes the next day.

"Hey has any of you guys seen Flora?" James asked the girls.
"Are you kidding?" Marlene scoffed. "You expect her to see you after what you did?"
"Huh?"
"She saw you kiss lily dip knob. Flora isn't dumb you know." Dorcas finished.
"No. No no no no!  she told me she liked me and I was just stood there like an idiot until she kissed me because she said it would change my mind but all I could think about was how lily wasn't Flora"James spluttered.
"Awwww... Aw shit."Marlene jumped up and shouted while leaving class with James.
"Language miss McKinnon!" Mcgonogal scolded.
"Sorry Minnie I've got a crisis in dire need of repair!"

Flora sat knitting in her dorm.
"FLORAAAA!" Marlene said as she sprinted up the stairs.
"Y..yeah... yeah?"
"Uhhh We have broomstick practice remember. Madam hooch said you gotta go."
"Oh... okay." Flora got her robes on and followed Marlene down to the pitch.
Flora began stretching and was rather confused when Marlene constantly looked around the place.
Then all of a sudden....

let me love you....." James was singing while being chased by madam hooch. He was dancing and smiling. Flora was surprised he knew that muggle song and couldn't help but crack a smile.

James had got detention. Marlene had explained everything to Flora- she understood and felt rather silly for crying. But nevertheless Flora was determined to sneak James out of detention. How she was going to.. that was a different story...

"Prof.slug horn!" Flora said as she bounded into the potions room currently being used for detention.
"Yes?" He asked.
"Umm... I wanted to ask.... how did you get so good at potions?" Flora made hand signals to James telling him to sneak out of the room.
"Well I had a sort of natural talent for it I guess." He boasted.
"Wow not a lot of people do huh?" She stalled.
"No I wouldn't say so—" slughorn looked around after hearing the door creak.
"Hey! Uhh can you make ummm the death potion thing?" Flora said frantically.
"Yes dear. Now what was that noise?"
"Nothing! Probably rats or something." She chuckled.
James had left, she now had to make her excape
"Bye!" Flora was now out the door as quick as physically possible.
"Miss lupin!" Slughorn called after her, to which he revived no reply.

Flora was just about to walk into divination when she felt arms grab her, of course her initial reaction was to kick and scream, however when James covered her mouth and told her it's was only him, Flora relaxed.
"You scared me you bloody lunatic!" Flora hushed.
"Sorry darling, thanks for getting me out of detention." He grinned. That god forsaken grin.
"Yeah. No problem I guess." Flora walked away from James, even though he sung that song for her, he still kissed lily.
"Hey!" He hurried after her, "I don't like lily you know,"
"It sure looked like you did." Flora joked- a coping mechanism she would often use in awkward situations.
"Well she likes me but I said I like you. I do. You and only you." He was on his knees now.
"James get up. Look I don't want to sound rude or anything but you're going to have to prove it." With that Flora walked away.
