It was the day I won tickets to MAGCON for the first and the last time. I was really excited.
I heard Hayes would be there, but I was just dreaming I had a chance with him. I mean he is 3 years older than me. Since I'm an orphan management took a plane to come get me. Did I mention my name is MaeLee D. Now that I think about it we landed in Dallas Texas. I walked off the runway and the whole family met me at the gate. Nash, Matt, Hayes and Cam all gave me big hugs. Then I cried. As I did Hayes enveloped me into a big hug. He comforted me. He must have heard that my parents and brother are dead. I was watching. He must've thought I was too young to die.
As I continued to cry Hayes stroked my caramel brown hair. It was embarrassing to cry in front of  my idols. I just couldn't help it.

When I stopped crying we went in and got Starbucks. Then we went to the mall to buy me clothes since my luggage was stolen.

When we got back to the hotel all of the rooms were booked so I had to share a room with one of the boys. As I turned away they all turned to Hayes and said "you're going to share a room with Mae." Apparently they're giving me nicknames now. "Okay." He said. "But you can't blame me if I kiss an eleven year old."
(A/N: this was written when Hayes was 13 or 14)

"Kay but she might need a step stool because the top of her head comes just under your chin bro." Nash chimed.
(By the way I "had to go to the bathroom")

"That was rude." Said Cam, "Hayes is just tall that's all."

Yeah and she's perfect just the way she is anyway." Hayes said.

I didn't catch the last part of their conversation seeing as I actually did end up going to the bathroom.

"Who is?" I walk out of the bathroom wondering why they were talking about 'perfect' girls.

"Our mom!" Nash yells quick. I could tell the boys were nervous about something but I let it slide.

I didn't really know what to say so I just replied with a lame "oh cool" and let it be. I was really confused as to why Nash said that though and I'd like to know what else the boys really said about me.
