I'm surprised we pulled that off. We really confused her. I could tell by the look on her face. It was pretty cute though. "Okay Mae when you were in the bathroom we made a decision, you will be rooming with Hayes." Matt turns and winks at me. I roll my eyes just as he tells Mae we'll be sharing a bed too.
So she said. "Okay but you better wear a little more than boxers boy." I giggled and said, "Don't worry I usually wear one of my hoodies and some shorts or sweats. These hotel rooms get a bit cold at times." "Oh great," she replied. "I only have sweats and a tank top to sleep in." So me being the nice guy said, "That's ok I'll lend you a comfy hoodie to sleep in. I have plenty."
"Thanks Hayes." She stood on her tip toes and planted a soft calming kiss on my cheek.
Everyone watched our conversation, a bit shocked seeing as we went from standing across the room from each other to standing right next to each other and - now that I think about it - holding each others hands. Man is her hand soft.
We looked around then she slowly waddled over to the elevator door pulling me along then asked "what floor" and pressed the correct button. After being told so that is.
Our rooms are on the third floor of a pretty fancy hotel in Dallas, Texas.
Tour starts tomorrow so we need to go to bed. It's already eleven and we need to be ready by eight so wake up at seven.
