Snow after Christmas?!

                                      Chloe's POV
I woke up the day after Christmas to see snow! I got up quickly, showered, brushed my teeth, and put on a winter outfit.

"Sis wake up! It's snowing!" "Huh snow?!" She popped up and looked at the window. "SNOW!" She ran in the bathroom I guess to get ready, but I went to Junior's room.

"Junior wake up it's snowing!" "Huh Jade wants to kiss me?" "No doofus. I said it's snowing." He popped up and went to his window to check.

I went to Jack and Diane's room. "Guys wake up it's snowing!" "SNOW!" They popped up. I'm surprised that mom and dad aren't up yet. "STOP YELLING!" Dad yelled. I spoke too soon. "BUT ITS SNOWING!" I yelled back.

I went downstairs and waited for everyone. Diane came down first, then Jack. Junior came next with Zoey. And mom and dad came last.

"What about grandma and grandpa?" Diane asked. "Oh shoot." I said. I went to their bedroom and said "It's snowing!" "Snow? Snow!" Grandma said. I knew she still had some kid in her.

I left and we all went outside. Since the McKellan's live 2 houses down from us, I decided to go invite them. Also lately mom and dad didn't really say anything about family game night.

I knocked on their door and Shaka answered. "Yeah?" "Well it's snowing outside and I was wondering if you guys wanted to hangout in the snow with us?" "Sure one sec....ITS SNOWING OUTSIDE!" He said.

I covered my ears when he yelled. "Ok we'll be with you guys shortly." He said before shutting the door.

I walked back to everyone else to see that Zoey made a snowman or really a snow woman the height of her. And Diane made a snow man while Jack and Junior made snow angels.

"What was all that yelling?" Mom asked. "Oh that was Shaka. I told him about the snow and he yelled to his family that it's snowing."

"You kids need to stop all that yelling. When you said it was snowing, I thought my ears were going to explode." Grandpa said. "Did they explode yet?!" Junior asked.

We all looked at him with a really look. "What? He said his ears exploded." "No. He said "I thought my ears were going to explode."." Diane corrected him making the "were" sound bold.

"I don't really remember him saying that." "It's very, very sad that your younger siblings are smarter than you." Grandma said. "So now your calling me dumb?" "Did I say the word dumb in my sentence?" Grandma asked us and we said no.

"Junior, she never called you dumb. You just understand less things than we do." Zoey said trying to make him happy but failed.

"Wow thanks for making me feel better!" Junior said sarcastically. "Your welcome!" "Hey Junior, I take back what I said!" Grandma said after hearing what Zoey responded with.

The McKellan's joined us in their winter gear. "Do y'all wanna have a family competition? Mckellan's vs Johnson's?" Coco asked. We all agreed.

"But here are the rules. Rule number one, no one here is your friend. Rule number two, you can throw a snow ball anywhere except the face." M'dear said.

"Are you done yet? I wanna throw a snow ball sooo badly." Ami said. "Yeah i'm done."

We had a good time but I wonder what Junior was doing. Probably talking to his doll version of Jade. The game was over and everyone either played together or they talked.
