A/N: Hey guys! Haven't uploaded in a long time but there is a simple explanation for that... NO ONE MADE ANY REQUESTS!!!! So please make requests for a scene you would like in Annabeth's point of view and I would gladly do it. Even if it's in the Lost Hero series.

*~*

Annabeth was irritated with Percy. Not that big of a surprise, considering they were always at each other's throats, but this time it was completely differant. Now, he injured her pride. And everyone knew what Annabeth did to people who took a swipe at that.

Truthfully, Percy was very lucky he was her friend - a very close friend - or else she would have been running after him with her dagger by now.

This was her quest. Her moment to shine. And he was trying to pass it down to someone else - a mortal no less. If any of her half brothers or sisters knew that he even suggested it then they would be helping Annabeth run him through with their swords. Not only did the big seaweed brain insult Annabeth - he insulted Athena. And no one was allowed to do that and get away scott free.

Like she said, Percy was lucky he was her friend.

Annabeth didn't even want to speak with Percy, but she knew she had to. They were on the same quest - only because she was too stupid as to ask him to come along, thinking he would be of help - which, she ruefully admitted, he had been. Saving her from those creatures, that's something no one else could have accomplished.

So Annabeth was forced to speak with him, forced to endure his irritating yet amusing jokes all through the cab ride as they went to Sally Jackson's house.

Sally, unlike Percy, was not irritating in the least; but that didn't mean Sally didn't share the same traits as her son. They were both easily funny, not even trying to make people laugh but somehow managing it anyways; she was brave, something proven the day Annabeth first met Percy; and - like Percy - it was hard not to have some relationship with her. Sally Jackson was a person you could grow fond of in an instant, it was as simple as that. All she had to do was take out a batch of blue home-made cookies and you were wrapped around her finger.

The second Annabeth knocked on the door it flew open, and there stood Sally Jackson in all her glory.

Sally looked shocked stiff at the sight of the two demigods at her front door, but then a smile strethed across her face, making her beauty intensify. Her sparkly blue eyes watered at the sight of Percy and she flew over and crushed him in a hug, her long brown hair burrying any sign of Percy's mortified expression.

Annabeth smirked at her friend's clearly overwhelmed and more than embarrassed face as his mother pulled away and but kept her arms around him as though making sure he wouldn't disappear on her again.

Annabeth flet a tug at her heart at this, now understanding why Percy had refused to listen to anyone when they told him that it was impossible to get his mother back from the Underworld. If this was Annabeth's mother... truthfully, Annabeth wasn't sure what she would do.

The Athena thing to do would be to stay put and go on with the quest, knowing that getting sidetracked with emotions would only get her killed. But the mortal part of her would have wanted to go, even though everyone told her there was no hope.

"I told them you were alright," Sally said, sounding so relieved to see her son again. She looked as though the weight of the sky had been lifted off her shoulders - and Annabeth knew first hand how that felt.

Percy sent an uncomfortable glance Annabeth's way, as though horribly aware of her presence. Only then did Sally notice the blond hair girl hovering a few steps away from them, awkwardly watching the scene that should have been private
