-Ekon's POV-

I gently rubbed at my dreary eyes, sighing quietly as I turned my head to look out of the window that was next to the bed I was sat upon.

The sun was setting now, the sky fading from an indigo to a soft deep blue and then to a gentle orange colour as it neared the sun.

I yawned softly, plopping backwards to lay down my back on the soft mattress below me.

I laid there for awhile, thinking what I should do, staring up at the blank beige ceiling I had.

Though my thoughts were cut off by my phone, which was sat next to me on my bed, buzzing and making a ding sound, telling me I had a notification.

I grabbed my phone, taking my other hand to grab one of my fleece blankets, pulling it over to of me.

Unlocking my phone with my fingerprint, I swiped down to view my notifications, and I smiled when I saw the contact that had texted me.

I typed backed to him for a bit, asking how he was and how his day went, the usual things.

We continued to chat for a bit, I laughed when opening the cursed looking photo he sent of himself.

Chuckling, I sent a photo back to my boyfriend of the closest thing I found, which was my cat, curled up at the end of the bed.

Boyfriend..

Yeah, boyfriend.

Me and Nalo had been dating for about 8 and a half months now, and I've never been more glad to have him as my potential lifetime lover.

I smiled once again, recalling the embarrassing day I asked him out.

We continued texting until he requested to video call, I quickly sat up and placed my phone up against my pillow so my front camera could view me on the screen whilst I looked at Nalo.

I accepted the video call.
