Seeing Angelina again was like going back to my childhood , before my mum met Darrell and I had lots of friends and before I came out.
I started reading under the tree and I noticed Angie plopped on my lap asleep , I smile to myself and start running my hand through her hair , listening to her very soft snore. She looks so peaceful and calm , I wish we could stay like this forever , but I still have a train ticket I need to buy. I look down at her sleeping face , maybe she'll come with me?
I close my book and put it back in my bag then I tap her on the shoulder "Angie?" I tap slightly harder "Angie , we've gotta go" I get inpatient and shake her awake "Okay! Okay! , I'm awake" she says in the shock of being awakened , " 'bout bloody time , come on , we've gotta go now" she pulled herself up slowly , still being very tired while I'm already up , holding my bag , pulling it on my back.
I watch her get up , grab her hand and we both stride off , ready for whatever comes to hit us next
While we are walking my phone rings and Angie comes to a stop and I turn
"You ok?" I say staring at her , confused
"It's a blocked number" she says , slightly scared , turning the phone to me. "Answer it" I shrug to her "it can't be that bad" I say pulling my book out of my bag , waiting for her to answer.
She answered the phone and I started reading
"Hello?........No this is Angelina.........oh hey Ali........"
'Ali?' I think to myself as she continues talking 'why is she calling?'
Then she handed the phone to me
"It's for you" she said , looking on the verge of tears
"Oooook?" I say very confused , taking the phone "yes?"
I could tell that she was crying and has been for a while
"I-I know that we aren't talking right now b-but I have to tell you something" she said through tears
"Well?" I said , noticing that Angie was know crying
"Darren k-killed mum"
I dropped my phone , it just slid straight out of my hand and I was frozen in shock , Angie grabbed my phone and talked to Ali while my entire world seemed to be crashing down
