I got three text messages from the same person it was 6:30 and i was second guessing this already! Oh lord why did that boy have to do that? Huh?
"Hey, babe." The first one said.
"Um, so we are going to go to a theme park be there in 30!"
"Hey babe Im here." He was probably thinking yes finally.
I was in my ripped skinny jeans and i put my underarmer hoodie on and i had my black flip-flops on and my hair up in a messy bun. I thought i looked pretty good to be honest with you. I walked out of my room and i saw Carson looking at me.
"Cece you look pretty" he smiled.
"Awe thanks Cars" smiled back at him.
"Now don't let Jake do anything stupid to you okay?" he asked
"Do i look like an idiot?" I asked half smiling.
"Theirs my little sis!" he smiled
I laughed and went down the stairs. My mom look at me.
"So you finally said yes to the poor boy?"
"Mom he wouldn't let me go" I laughed
"Oh that boy" she laughed
Ding-dong. The door bell went. I walk to the door and found Jake standing there with pink roses in his hands... He was wearing a sweatshirt and jeans with Nike shoes. I had to admit he did look pretty good... His hair was just perfect!
"Hey, Ce" he said as he looked me up and down.
"Hi, Jake" i replied.
"Oh.... These are for you" he handed over the roses
I smelled them and they smelled amazing "Thanks" I smiled going back into house and gave them to my mum...
"Have fun honey" she hollered
"I will mum" I hollered back.
As we walked out to his car, it was a ways away to the fair. I thought to myself for awhile til he broke the silence with he's deep voice. I blocked him out for a minute listening to his voice i've heard it so many time before, I've known him my whole life it was hard to think that i was going on a date with this kid.
"So are you ready to have some fun?" he asked all pumped up.
"Oh you know it Jake" i said almost laughing i dont know why but it did.
He laughed and said "Good, depending on the time we get done we'll go get some dinner okay?"
"Oh that's fine with me" i smiled.
He smile back and we were at the fair grounds already. Gosh that was fast I thought. We got out of the car and headed toward the ticket both. i was gunna pay for mine but he insisted. When we got in there he looked down at me and smile... "So what ride to you wanna go on first?"
Mhhmm I had to think about this... "Lets go on the Space Ship!" I said running off to it like a little kid. He laughed and ran up behind me. AS we waited in line he gave me my ticket and I gave him a thank you smile and he returned it. The carnival guy let us in and I pick a spot and stood there and Jake came next to me and less than a minute it started I started to laugh i had my eyes closed. I could feel him looking at me with a grin on his face. When the ride was done, i felt all dizzy and that made laugh again i almost fell down and and Jake caught me.
"Whoa Ce, you alright?" He sounded concerned
"Yeah, I just got dizzy" I smiled at him.
We went on so many rides and laughed so much by the time i looked at my phone it was 11:00 already.
"Hey Jake?" i said.
"Yeah?" he said
"It's 11:00 i have to go in a hour" i told him.
his smile disappeared. "Okay. So what do you wanna do know?"
" I dont know you pick" i said smiling.
He smiled "Okay lets go"
"Okay" i laughed.
As we left he grabbed my hand and i didn't pull away. I liked his hand there holding mine like nothing could touch me. When we got to his car we went our separate ways but ending up back together. I was dark and the only thing i could see was him. He didn't start the car instead we sat there in the silence of the dark and the next thing i noticed was him leaning towards me. I didn't move and his lips touched mine. We sat there kissing, witch felt like forever to be honest with you. When we pulled apart all i could see was him smiling like a fool and I laughed at him.
"What?" he said.
"Oh nothing" i told him
"No seriously what?" sounding concerned.
"You just looked so happy like the happiest a guy could ever get." i said
"Oh well i am" he said so simple.
I laughed and I kissed him. I felt him run his hand though my hair til it sat on my cheek. We stayed like that for a while til i backed away for once. I looked at the time. It read 11:36. Why did my curfew have to be 12:00 ?
"Hey Cece?" he sounded nervous.
"Yes Jake?" I asked.
"W-would you please please please be mine?" he asked.
" I mean I've liked you since 8th grade please Cece it been four years, and i haven't dated any girl because the only girl i want is you and to be honest with you Cece i love you... I've loved ever since you showed me that you can stand up to me and you laugh oh my god i could live a day with out hearing it once!" He looked at me with hope in his eyes.
I couldn't think, I knew something was right in this... I just kissed with all i had. We stayed like that til we parted. I looked at my phone and it sat 11: 56.
"Oh gosh Jake I have to go its almost 12." i said sorry that i wrecked the moment.
"Oh darling dont be sad I'll get you home in time and i'll text you" he said.
We took the drive to my house and when we got there he leand over and kissed me softly. I kissed back, and got out of the car and started towards the door.
"Bye babe" he hollered.
"Bye Jake" i hollered back
