"Girl, so you mean to tell me you let a fine ass man like that slip away? You crazy." Luna said chuckling as she painted my nails.
I held my hand still as she so, I playfully rolled my eyes at her comment. I was never the type to make the first move, I was too scary and awkward. What if he had a girlfriend or some shit? What if he wasn't even interested in me and he was only picking my damn change like any other human being would?
"Oh, well. There's plenty of men out there, i'm never gonna see his cute ass again." I said sighing as I looked down at Luna painting my nails, she was painting them this pale pink color. I always loved simple pastel colors like that, I felt like it always went with my mood and everything that I wearing.
Luna sucked her teeth as she looked up at me and held my hand towards my face, indicating that I needed to blow on them.
"Never say never, I bet you you'll see his ass again." Luna reassured me with a smile on her face, exposing her dimples.
I kept blowing at my fingernails until both of my hands were completely dried, I just shrugged to Luna said. She could be right, but I wasn't sure.
"Anyways, i'm hungry as hell, you wanna head to that new Mexican spot? It's like 10 minutes away from here." Luna said as she got up from my bed and slid on her Nike slides.
My stomach began to growl as she said 'Mexican Spot' I loved Mexican food, the spices they used were just amazing. I was also in the mood for a big as Tamale right now, a lot of people didn't like them and always though I was 'weird' because I ate them all the time when I was younger. Their picky ass was just missing out on some good ass food.
"Yea, i'm down" I replied before getting off my bed as well and sliding on my black crocs, it was about 7:00 in the evening. It would start to cold around this time, so grabbed a pullover hoodie that was just black and said 'Angel'. I got it from of these stores around the damn mall awhile back.
"Ou! Bitch i'm starving!" Luna yelled dramatically as she held her stomach, exiting my bedroom.
I laughed as I rolled my eyes, following behind her. She grabbed her keys that were laying on my kitchen counter then we left.

Me and Luna finally made it to the restaurant, it was really nice inside and wasn't really that packed. I guess it was because the place was still new and not many people knew about it yet.
We sat at one of the tables in the back and looked over the menu before the waitress came back to note down our drinks. I really didn't know what to choose, it was so many different options and the pictures weren't making it any better because they all looked so good.
Every time someone would enter the restaurant, the door would go off and make a 'ding' sound. This particular time when it went off again, I looked up and my eyes widen to the site of it. It was the guy earlier from the mall, what the hell was he doing here? I'm not saying he couldn't come here to eat or whatever, but it was just unexpected.
Right when he walked inside, we made eye contact. My heart began to race so quickly to the point my heart would echo throughout my ears. After a few seconds he broke eye contact and looked away smiling a bit, showing off his bottom grill. God, he looked so damn good. I prayed that he didn't think I was weird or something I was starting at his fine ass.
I guess Luna was picking up on the way I was starting at him because she just looked at my direction with a smirk on her face.
"So that's him? He's cute..but his friend looks even better!" She said as she looked over them, eyeing the friend down.
I tapped hand as I laughed. "Luna! don't look over there, you gonna be drawing attention!"
Luna just sucked her teeth "Girl, whatever. He fine as fuck." She said referring the light skin boy.
Once she said that the waiter came back with our drinks and took down our orders. We sat their for awhile talking about something, mostly the guys that were sitting not that far from us. Luna kept making these nasty ass jokes about what she would do to the light skin guy or whatever.
Before we knew it our food came and we enjoyed the hell out of it.
