Unwanted

A New Start

As soon as I went out of the airport, I grabbed a cab so that I could find a nice place to stay in.

I think I'll just ask the driver if he could drop me off in some hotel.

" Um, I'm new to this place so can you just drop me off in some hotel or apartment? "

" Sure, there's a hotel nearby. " he smiled at me

I guess people in this place are quite nice. It's been so long since someone smiled at me. I was never treated nicely at our place. 

Why do I have to remember them? I have to erase all my memories of them.

I leaned into the cab's window and looked intently at the surroundings. I can't stop looking around, it's like a whole new world. I'm not surrounded by trees and it doesn't feel so lonely seeing so many people talking, laughing and doing their work.

The cab came to a sudden stop. The man looked back at me and smiled.

"We're here." he said

I looked at the window and saw a white building with intricate black markings. It seems really classy but it's not that tall. There is a big sign on the building "Palazzo Mandreu".  But I'm not quite sure if I read it properly.  I guess this would suffice for the meantime.

"Thank you for the help! Here's the payment." I handed him the money with a smile and went out of the cab. It was a nice trip after all.

I stood outside for a moment before I decided to finally enter the hotel.

I asked around and decided to get a single bedroom for 3 days and 2 nights. I guess this is how their system works. I'm thankful that through all the years of hardship, I saved up a lot of money. 

I went to my room. It was marvelous! This kind of environment is really new to me. I'm not sure if I can get used to it. 

I walked around the room and checked its facilities. Back at our pack's territory, my room was really small and I had to squeeze in a really small bed. I'm happy that I could experience this.

I'm really tired.

I changed my clothes and went to my bed. 

I know that this is the start of my journey. It's time to start anew and I'll make sure to fulfill my revenge.

I looked at the ceiling for so long until I finally closed my eyes and felt sleep slowly coming into me.

Waaahhh! It's been two years since I updated. Finally, I could feel the happiness of people appreciating my work and for the thousand reads. It feels so surreal. And I'm really happy to be back. Sorry for the update promises that never actually happened. I hope that you'll still support my work.
