Pearl said, giving him his very own phone. Amethyst ran and took Luca to her room, yabbering about getting a phone case. As soon as he came back, he had a cute case:

He'd tap on the home button and look at the digital screen, mesmerized. "W-woah! Who knew t-there w-was home world-like t-technology.." After they had shown Luca on how to use it, he put it in his pocket, then going outside to walk near the beach.
So calm...
The sea makes it so easy to think and daydream...
Luca would look up, then took out his ribbons from his diamond, his personal weapon he always used to fight. Luca then started to dance, trying to show he was sad as he thought of his past, dancing with the waves.
-Flashback-
It was when he had gotten scolded from Blue Diamond and Yellow Diamond...
Yellow Diamond would yell; "NO, GREY. YOU AREN'T MEANT TO BE HERE. YOU SHOULD JUST PERISH.."
"B-but-"
"NO, GET OUT OF MY SIGHT."
Luca would run to his room, then break down, tears falling, making a 'plop, plop' noise.
Blue Diamond: "Grey, get out of here. We don't need another Diamond helping us. GO."
He was rejected from everyone, so as soon as he heard the Crystal Gems, He thought about staying there.
