Food kills!

Suddenly my phone rang. It was Andrew. "Baby, tell me you are ok. " I cried.
" So you know! I am fine. Just don't eat anything for now. Please! I was here when it started. I am here with my fellow researchers. I am on my way to find out what has happened. Virologist Senior colleague has asked me to fly there. I'll be home soon. I love you baby"

I couldn't say anything to him then cry. I couldn't take everything up. I was there in India during Covid 19 pandemic. It was terrible. The world has never seen anything more pathetic than that situation. Everyone was hoping to survive and so we did. But, it's different now. We can't eat. Then how are we going to survive?

It's 5:30 pm.
Everyone I encounter on my path to home is gloomy and crying like hell. It's as if death knocks at our door. I could see mothers hugging and kissing their children. They were transferring every bit of love they have for them. The moment we believe it's our death, it is when we become less selfish. That's why Gabriel is begging his father for forgiveness. I could imagine the sudden realisation on their faces.

I remember the stories relating to the end of the world. We had one prediction in 2012, one in 2020. We nearly thought 2020 was our end. However, it wasn't.
It doesn't seem to be destructive all of a sudden like a tornado or earthquake or tsunami or freezing up of the earth. Movies were all scary back then. But, this is worse. This is when you must choose between hunger and death!

The rich and the poor have no different options. The rich can't stockpile food now or anything now. They can't do it with their money. Yes, it's worse.

I went inside my room and did nothing. I cried and cried. My family died in a car accident 4 years back. They were all I had. At least it's better to reunite with them after death.
