The sunlight came through your bedroom window to meet your soft skin as you slowly opened your (e/c) eyes as they adjusted themselves to the light that is being emitted from the sun. You rub your face as you stand up from your bed as you walk towards your bathroom.

You picked up your toothbrush and lazily placed some of the white toothpaste he used to use in the mornings. You take a look in the mirror in front of you as you see tear stained cheeks with some black mascara, and your messy (h/c) hair is all over the place. By just looking at your reflection, you remembered what happened last night and how the boy of your dreams said the words you never expected. It seemed as if you were on autopilot, while freshening up for the day. You have school to attend even though you wished not to attend because it meant seeing him again. You walked down the stairs and sat down as one maid, Liza handed you your favorite breakfast. She knew what happened last night since you talked to her more than your own parents and it was okay because you didn't need them anymore.

"If you like you don't have to attend school" "I know but I'll have to go and see him one day or another" you said as you gave her a small sad smile, as Liza just nodded and continued to do her chores meanwhile you excused yourself out of the table. As you see your father descending down the stairs with one of his many night stands the only thing you could do is sigh. Since the divorce from your mother since he found a new coping mechanism it has become rough to talk to him. You and your mother's relationship wasn't the best at the moment, since you decided to stay with your father and expect this to happen, because she became dependent on alcohol.

Damian Wayne couldn't sleep that night, all he could do was think about your (e/c) eyes, soft (h/c) hair, the way you laughed and the way your smile lightened up the room. He wasn't going to lie, it was quite difficult to say the words he said to you. It took everything in him to say the words he hated, the words he didn't want you to hear, the words he was forced to say that night which haunted him as he patrolled the city that night he spoke them. He watched you from afar as you cried, screamed and the way you fell asleep because of all the crying you had done. And all he wanted was to go there, and apologize to explain to you that he was being watched, the words and forced to say those words. He said to the person in front of him...

"I regret it, saying it, even though it's one of my many sinful regrets, one that I think I can't live with"
