Almost a month had gone by and Scarlett was still thinking about James. She didn't make her feelings obvious because the last thing she needed was lily finding out about her still lingering love for James.

For as long as Scarlett can remember her and Lily had constantly been competing with each other. It felt like anything Scarlett had she wanted, and the whole James thing was only proving her point.

On this particular morning Scarlett was feeling good. When she thought of James she didn't feel tears in her eyes, in fact she didn't really feel anything. After she brushed her teeth and hair she checked the time.

"Oh shit I was supposed to meet Regulus by the lake before breakfast." She whispered to herself and she reached in her wordrobe. She put on what ever she had pulled out and rushed out the door. As she was running through the common room she ran into someone sending her onto the ground.

"Oh my gosh are you alright, I'm such an idiot." She said rubbing her forehead, not because it hurt but out of embarrassment.

"Oh no I'm alright, I should be the one apologizing." He said reaching out to help her up.

"I'm so sorry, I was rushing and I should have looked where I was going." He pulled her up and then grabbed her books off the ground.
He let out a chuckle and handed her the books.

That's when she really saw him.
He was tall, with black longish hair, blue eyes and a dazzling smile. She didn't know what to say.

He chuckled again and rubbed the back of his head as he looked down to the ground.

"Um I'm so sorry again but I really need to get going." She said as she turned around and walked to the door. He hand was on the handle when he said something.

"Wait," he said as he walked up to her. "Could I walk you to wherever your going? Its the best I can do after running into you." He looked do at her and smiled.

"I, would love that but I was kind of on my way to meet someone." She said. It made her feel bad and that she hadn't promised to meet her stupid brother.

"Oh, um then I guess I'll see you around?" He said slightly tilting his head to the left.

'Yeah definitely" after that she ran out of the common room and into the corridor. By the time she got to the lake she was out of breath and almost in a sweat.

"Jesus why happened to you?" Regulus said taunton her as she leaned over to catch her breath.

"I just hauled ass over here to meet you that's what happened." She said giving him a look like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Ok ok no need to be so sassy this early in the morning." He tried to hide his laughter but was failing miserably.

She walked over to a tree and sat against its trunk. Regulus sat next to her.

"So why are you so late? Was it a boy." He said elbowing her.

"No. Well yes but no hes not the reason I'm late I just-" Regulus cut her off.

"Its a yes or no question rain drop." He smiled and stood back up. "We should probably head to breakfast." He said looking toward the castle.

"Yeah I'm starving." She said standing next to him.

"You wanna race?" Regulus said with a smirk.

"Um no actually I dont." Scarlett said. She started to walk toward the castle and Regulus caught up to her.

"You're no fun." He said sighing.

"I'm fine with not being fun, at least I'm not stupid like some others."she said looking at him.
