Darla Cole

Rehearsals were over about an hour later, everyone was just getting ready for tonight's show. The boys were all in their dressing rooms, and i didn't know where to go. My tongue was still in agonizing pain from the piercing, so i didn't really feel like talking to anyone to find out anything. I sat down at the edge of the stage, my phone was plugged up in a room somewhere, i think Harry's, so i just sat and thought about what my life was about to turn into. For a few moments, i had this arena all to myself, anything that made a noise echoed through the large, empty room.

I sensed someone approaching — i turn my head to see the same tall figure i saw back in LA. Harry. Keeping in mind i've only known Harry for just a few short days, he had already felt like my comfort place. Almost like home.

"What are you doing here alone?" He sat down beside me — looking into the view of what seemed like millions of empty seats.

"Just... thinking." i sigh.

"Of?"

"This."

"Darling, you're going to have to be more specific." he grinned.

"Of what we are doing, what if i.. or you fall for one ano-" he stopped me from finishing the dreaded words spitting out of my mouth.

"No. We won't."

The statement left me stunned, i didn't think he'd say that.

"Yeah. You're right." I look away from him.

I felt perception of hurt in my heart, as if it had dropped into my stomach, why did that statement hurt as bad as it did? I'm still getting over someone else, i don't think i'm capable of love again after the last one. Maybe have a middle school crush on Harry, yes, but never love.

Maybe Lust even.

I glanced at him, his eyes glistened into the bright light beams that lit up the large stage. His hair so silky, so shiny. His skin was so ever soft, and lips like milk.

"You ever wish you could have a normal life?" I make conversation.

He looked at me, up and down, turning away again to the distance.

"Always."

"And why is that?"

"It seems good, you know, the fans, pap, everything."
he looked down. "But it's not what we make it out to be, and you'll understand it more as we go one with this fake dating thing."

"Does your mom even know about me?"

"She knows of you. She doesn't know it's a stunt, if that's what you're meaning."

"Oh."

Ouch.

"Well, i'll go get ready for the show tonight, you should too." He got up to walk away.

"Harry—" I stopped him.

He turned to me. "Yeah?"

I wanted to tell him something, but i didn't know what. I felt like i needed to tell him this thought i'm almost positive i never had.
