||Her Wrath||

Ashwatthama surveyed the surroundings and grinned as they paced towards the bungalow.

Drona and Arjun ambled around the huge garden leading to the house.

"It must have been tiring for you this week. You should have take rest instead?",he said turning to Arjun.

Arjun replied,"No Sir, anything for you that too anytime.Not tired at all!"

Drona patted his back,"It would have been great if other four would have accompanied us."

"I asked them but they Kuru&Sons(company) needs them right now.",he said as they reached the bungalow.

A serious & awkward silence fell over as they stepped forward. Drupad forced a smile. Dyumn too had a bittersweet expression on his face.

"Welcome Drona",Drupad said in not-so-enthusiastic voice.

Arjun and Ashwattama stood behind Drona. Ashwatthama was busy admiring the property even if they had just a half share of it.

The three walked into the living room. Arjun sat down on the sofa with a solemn expression on his face.

Drona spoke clearly,"Drupad, I know you're not quite happy with our arrival, just bring the documents and we'll leave after signing it."

"Aise kaise?!",a sharp female voice came from the opposite side, loud enough for everyone.

Arjun turned behind and saw her  silhouette against the afternoon sunrays, his vision betraying her image.

Draupadi paced towards them.

Arjun could hardly gather himself that moment after witnessing her presence.He smiled involuntarily and reddened as his eyes met with her fiery ones.

She scrutinized him, instead glared at him with anger and turned her face towards the other members. Arjun remained there itself, transfixed.

“I mean, what's the urgency?We can have lunch and then other official things?”,she said all at once.

Drupad said,“I..What you think,Drona?”

“What you think Arjun & Ashwathama?”,he asked them.

Ashwatthama snapped at Arjun,“Yeah...I mean ..That's fine.”,he said smiling at her. Draupadi gave him a sardonic smile and left.

After lunch:

Arjun was roaming around in the bungalow hither-tither, searching for her,“God!!Who was she? Mr.Drupad's daughter I guess?

As Arjun was about to go to the guest's room, he was pulled by his collar with a jerk.

Annoyed he looked at the figure, who dared this act but was taken aback. It was her,Draupadi.He rather smiled at her like a loon.

“Why are you smiling,Mr??,she asked grabbing his collar more forcefully.

Arjun couldn't even retort back,he was so helpless..helpless due to the feeling overpowering his heart and mind.

“What you think of yourself, haan..You just win a match and take over someone's half property?”,she continued, pulling him with force.

“The way you're asking me Ma'am,I'm speechless..”,he said smirking.

“Oh really!You know I'm really angry”,she said creasing her eyebrows, pulling him again.

“The way you're pulling me close to you..I swear..”,he said looking in her eyes.

Draupadi's anger rose to peak,“What did just say,I'll kill you Arjun!!”

Arjun's smile widened,“Didn't you already?” Draupadi quizzically looked at him.

“Now,you will go down and lie to  everyone that you guys lost the match..I don't know how but you will or else..”,she paused.

“Or else?..”,he repeated coming closer to her. Draupadi loosened her hands from his collar pushing him a bit.

“Just go down and say You lost!”,she said her lips curling.

Arjun pulled her my arms, a few inches between them. He whispered,“I'm already lost,my lo..”,he exited the room.
