"007! Get back here!"

Alarms blared as guards communicated over the walkie-talkies.

"007 has escaped! I repeat; number 007 has escaped!" Dr. Brenner- or Papa as the kids called him screamed.

007 ran. It was all she could do. Running down the long, cold halls. Believe it or not she was running to freedom.

Almost there.. you're almost there! 007 continued to remind herself. Just moments later she was yanked backwards by a guard and tackled to the ground.

Dr. Brenner caught up to the guard and 007, he stopped. Everyone stopped. They slowly stood up and let go of 007. The guards and 'Papa' backed up.

007 stood. Wiping a small stream of blood that had begun to fall from her nose. She bolted back down the hall before the guards could catch up.

007 busted through the emergency exit and ran into the woods.

Entirely alone. Or so she thought.

~ Time Skip ~

007 walked alongside a long, curving road. She walked for what felt like hours until a car pulled up beside her.

"Hey, kid! Don't you know what time it is..." the driver trailed off, taking in the girl's appearance.

"Did you just escape from the hospital or something?" he asked.

"Bad place." 007 mumbled

The driver sighed. He put the car in park and unlocked the doors.

"Hop in, kid. I'm Steve by the way. Steve Harrington." he smiled

007 stared at him with a confused look on her face. The driver- well Steve- leaned over the console and opened the passenger door. He pat the seat where 007 slowly sat down, not completely trusting this Steve Harrington.

"So.. what's your name?" Steve asked, glancing over at 007.

The girl responded by holding her left arm out, making the tattoo visible.

"So your name is.. seven?"

007 nodded, putting her arm back in her lap.

"Cool- why don't we come up with a more common name? Like.. Ruby? Or.. Charlotte? Ooh what about Scarlett-"

"Sloane." 007 mumbled.

"Sloane it is." Steve smiled, pulling into his driveway.
