Listen to the song before reading and tell me that doesn't remind you of Loki. Sinceriously.
Anywhere, here we go.

Loki was infatuated with the woman. She appeared to be a new guard in the prisons. She had (hair length) (hair colour) hair and wore a patterned tan vest with a fur lined hood and sleeves, and with hints of olive green in some areas. A silver half breast plate covered her left side, protecting her heart. A silver spear hung from her waist, one end wrapped in leather and olive green fabric to match her vest. Dark brown pants and knee high black boots completed her look. Anyone could tell she wasn't Asgardian. And that was made even clearer when she tied up her hair during a guard crossover. Pointed ears confirmed that she was a light elf.
Loki wanted to know why she was here, instead of in Alfheim. Why would Odin accept a light elf as a prison guard? A female at that. Not that Loki had a problem with it. Especially when she suddenly strutted up to his cell, a scowl marring her features. Now she was closer, he could see she had (eye colour) eyes, and she was furious about something.
"Problem?" He asked politely.
"Why do you stare at me, prisoner?" She growled, eyes glowing with fury. Loki smirked, proud of himself for evoking such emotion in such a fine creature as she.
"Am I not allowed to know the faces of those who guard me? Is that a right not worthy of such a lowly being such as me?" His smirk and his eyes dropped. He appeared submissive.
"I can have you blindfolded, if you do not stop. Or have a shield put up so you can not see or hear anyone or anything around you, until you go insane from loneliness, if that is what is necessary. Do I need to go to such measures, prisoner?"
"Such fire in one so small. Do you know who I am? Have they granted a mere peasant such as yourself the knowledge of who you are keeping prisoner?" He glared down at her.
"They have not, because it does not matter."
"Oh really?"
"Yes. Of course. Prisoners should be dealt with depending on the nature of their crime, not who they are."
"Oh, my dear, if only you knew what that would entail for me." Loki smirked again, walking away to sit on a chair before facing her again. "If that were the way everyone saw things, I would not have this furniture, or my life, for that matter."
"And why is that?" She snapped at him.
"Because I am the one they call Loki." The she-elf instantly understood. She had heard of Loki, but had not been told who he was. Now she knew, she cursed the emotions he stirred in her. "Does that change the way you see me?" He inquired, amused.
"It does. It means I will have the chance to find out what no one else will."
"And what's that, love?"
"Why Odin treated you the way he did."

RomanceThe song Dark Star by Jaymes Young reminded me of Loki. So of course, here's a oneshot about it. Because I don't have time for a series.
