PLEASE READ THIS!! Notes: Whats up my guy? Here we gotcha another chapter. Remember! Sensitive topics!! Also, if your wondering, Izuku senses are very enhanced. It's not a quirk or anything, he's just trained his senses along with the rest of his body and mind, making his hearing, smell, and sight, along with taste, better then the normal humans. (Still not a quirk!) He also had to have very high senses otherwise he would have died a lot sooner. Also, the cat, Bell, is actually a girl. She is younger than Izuku and it is NOT a ship. (Nasty) More like a sister-brother-best friend relationship. She is just a quirked animal who can transform between a little white cat and a girl about 13 years old. I added her because I wanted Izuku to have a friend, otherwise I feel like he would spiral. She was white hair the same color as her fur. It is super long (down to her waist) and straight. Her skin is a chocolate color and her eyes are like bluebells. Hence the name, (Bell.) You'll find out her personality later, but her ears and tail do not disappear when she transforms, and when she does she is always wearing a short, plain (but cute) white summer dress. I will leave what is left up to your imagination. Izuku found her abandoned in a box in an alleyway, and brought her home, cleaned her up and stuff. Depressed besties for life. Anyway, they are super close but she still doesn't know Izuku's full backstory. OkAy, let's get started!
Izuku POV:
Izuku sat perched on the edge of a building, twirling a knife in his hands. He glanced up at the cloudy sky, just a few stars peeking through. Taking a breath, he closed his eyes, letting his mind rest as he strained his ears for any disturbance. A loud clash struck the silence. He located the sound: in an alley about two blocks away. The presence behind him seemed to hear it too. He gave a sly grin under his mask. Let the chase begin, Eraserhead.
Shota Aizawa POV:
Shota's boots pounded lightly on the rooftops as he searched for the Phantom. The place the vigilante usually frequented was the shady part of the city, but he could be sighted basically anywhere. Shota figured it take a while to find- Never mind, there he was.
The Phantom looked just like when Shota first saw him, perched on the edge of a building like a bird, his hood shadowing his face. This time, though, the pro hero had time to really see him. He was shocked at how small he was. Could he possibly be a kid? Teenager? No- Don't jump to conclusions, He reminded himself, you need solid proof before anything else.
Just as Shota readied his capture tape, a faint crash was heard somewhere nearby. He turned his eyes toward the figure, he stiffened, and was gone. What the-wait, there he is! Shota rushed after the fleeting figure. He had to give to to him, the guy was fast, even faster than Shota. Maybe he does have a speed quirk. The hero tried to erase his quirk, but nothing happened. Dammit. Shota tried to keep up, watching the little shadow jump roof top to roof top and skirting around corners. Sometimes he would disappear for a few seconds, only to pop up somewhere else."How is he doing this?" Shota grumbled, "I should have had more coffee..." A yell pierced through his ears as he arrived at the alley. He saw a scene that would have made most people run in fear. A huge, hulking figure with multiple arms stood over a young boy. He held his hands protectively over his face, shaking in obvious fear. Shota glanced around, where was the Phantom? Should I- A blur rushed past his eyes. He tried to focus on the hooded vigilante who flew at the villain, kicking his head. The criminal roared, obviously pissed, he swung a punch but the Phantom danced away. Six-arms lunged, his bloody knife swinging, but the other was gone. He had jumped upwards, grabbing on to the rusty fire escape and throwing something with deadly accuracy. The throwing star sunk deep into the man's thigh, who froze up, his eyes rolling back as he slumped to the ground. Was it poisoned? Probably. Shota kept his position as he watched the vigilante tie up the villain to a lamp post, leaving a little origami boat on his shoulder.
"T-thank you," The boy said, standing up shakily.
The Phantom nodded, "Do you have a phone on you?" The woman was right, definitely a voice changer.
"Y-yes," The kid said, "I called the police when you w-were f-fi-fighting him."
He nodded again, hearing the close sirens, and was gone. The victim held a green boat tightly in his fist.
Shota shivered. He's never seen anyone move like that. He kept low the ground, using his height as an advantage and getting under his opponent's guard. The hero doubted that was even close to his full strength, the fight had been over so quickly. Speaking of quickly...I gotta catch him before he gets away!
Shota leaped over the cops in the alleyway, vaulting after the running escapee. Now! He whipped out his capture tape, binding the vigilante as he jumped.
"Wait!" Shota yelled as the other twisted gracfully out of the scarf, "I just want to talk!"
Much to his surprise, the Phantom stopped, "You mean before you try and arrest me."
Shota sighed, "Obviously. But listen, could you just answer some questions?"
The other turned, his hood flapping gently in the light night breeze, "Alright, Eraserhead. Why don't you amuse me? Ask away."
The pro Hero blinked as the Phantom sat down, his legs dangling off the side of the building. Shota did so as well, but kept his distance, capture weapon at the ready. "So, Phantom," he decided to start off small. "What is with the green boats?"
The vigilante gave a breathy laugh through his mask, "An interesting question, hero. I suppose because...they are pretty. And they seem peaceful, I guess, like sailing away on a sunny day." Shota narrowed his eyes. It wasn't a lie, but it definitely wasn't the truth either. Oh well.
"Next question, what's your name?" He knew it was a long shot, but it didn't hurt to ask.
"Nice try," He said. Wait- something is off about his tone of voice. "But I'm not that stupid."
Shota sighed, "Fair enough- Hey!" The other had stood up, his emerald eyes alert.
Glancing at Shota, who could almost see the smile under his mask, he said, "Sorry, hero, I gotta scram." He gave a mock salute as Shota gave one last attempt to catch him. He was gone in a matter of seconds.
Shota stood there, contemplating why he got himself into this mess. This is going to take longer than I thought.
Bell POV:
Bell gave a loud giggle as her anime show did something funny. Stifling her laughter, she shoved tuna into her mouth. The cat-girl had been up all night, binge-watching her favorite anime as she waited for Haji to come home.
Haji. That is what she called him. Not Izuku or Deku or Hajime. Just Haji. She was the only one allowed to call him that and it made her happy. It made her feel special. She of course knew his real name, Izuku. But he told her that wasn't who he was anymore, so she gave him a new name. Just like he did for her.
Bell glanced out the window. She wasn't worried, just bored. She kicked her feet, licking her fingers. Maybe she should have gone with him, this was way too boring.
HEy! Sorry for the shorter chapter, but I hope you enjoyed! See ya!
